“It’s not like you could do us both at the same time,” Adam grumbled but he got up off the floor and trotted past her, his bottom lip pouting out delightfully.
She was waiting for Rueben to retaliate, but when she saw the happy smile on her Daddy’s face she realized he was just as happy with their brat as she was. Adam drew a carefreeness from Alisha that she sorely missed in her everyday life. He made her feel happy, free, and without any worries. So much so she was able to just let go in a way she’d never been able to do before. Not even when she was in her Little headspace.
Rueben caught up with her and wrapped his strong arms around her waist. “Do you like bubbles, sweetness?”
“Uh huh. What princess doesn’t?” she asked him, her own smile splitting her face.
“It’s a good thing I have some then, isn’t it?”
She nodded at him and let him lead the way to the bathroom in the master bedroom. It was the one room in the house he hadn’t shown them yet, and she hadn’t thought anything about it until they stepped into it.
It was a masterpiece, like something from the movies. There was a huge his-and-hers sink on the one side, with a mirror so large it took up most of the wall. A toilet was bricked off by a half wall to give the illusion of privacy and in another corner was the biggest, most intimidating shower Alisha had ever seen. But the centerpiece? The huge sunken tub in the middle of the room. It looked big enough for Alisha to swim laps in.
Okay, maybe that was an exaggeration but there was so much space in that tub that she was sure all three of them would be able to fit in and still be comfortable.
“I read about it in a book once. And when I redid the bathroom, I decided to give up some closet space.” Alisha gasped at this but Rueben continued speaking, pretending not to hear her mock outrage. “The guy who did it gave me a huge deal on the tub because I helped with a lot of the labor when one of his guys got himself into some trouble halfway through the job.”
“It’s amazing. It’s like the best bathroom in the entire world, ever!” Alisha cried out, doing a twirl in front of Rueben. “Now, are you going to tell me you have some rubber duckies to play with or will I start pouting so hard that I’ll give Adam a run for his money?”
“Oh, sweetness, I have rubber duckies, sheep, cows and pretty much every single farm animal you can think of. One might just say I was a very hopeful Daddy, dreaming of finding the perfect Little to light up my days.”
Thinking of Rueben all single and alone made Alisha sad, even if she was happy that he’d been available and interested in her and Addy. After their months together on the job, she could honestly say she was shocked as all get out about the fact he was a Daddy, and on top of that, he liked the look of her.
“Now, let’s get you two undressed and into the water. I don’t want any dirty monkeys in my bed tonight,” Rueben warned before opening the taps. He dug in the cabinet under the sink until he came up with a basket full of rubber toys as promised along with a sealed bottle of bright purple bubbles.
The animals looked brand new too, proving that Rueben had either replaced his provisions since the last time he’d had someone in here, or they really were the first. Unable to get up the nerve to ask him about it, she kept quiet and watched him work.
He reached for Adam who—for once—obediently lifted his arms so Rueben could remove the pizza sauce-covered shirt. Alisha enjoyed the view, watching Adam’s strong, lean muscles tense under Rueben’s tender care. The smaller man’s cock was half hard, but Alisha didn’t think he’d even noticed as his gaze was so intent on the basket of animals.
After helping Adam into the bath Rueben turned to her, signaling her closer with the crook of a finger. “Your turn, sweetness. Let Daddy undress you.”
Unable to do anything but obey, she found herself moving forward. His firm, strong hands slowly took off her shirt, throwing it aside before doing the same with the rest of her clothes. He was so careful with her, as if he expected her to shatter at any second. It made her feel cherished and special in a way she never had before.
What followed was one of the most special moments of Alisha’s life. Their Daddy carefully and reverently cleaned them and watched them play.
Gently he coaxed information out of them by asking all sorts of questions and shared more about himself as Adam and Alisha played with the rubber animals.
And when they were all pruned up and clean as a whistle, he helped them out and dried them one by one before helping them get dressed. Adam in some soft flannel PJs he’d brought with him and Alisha in one of Rueben’s oversized t-shirts.
They’d stopped at the box store as planned, but ended up only grabbing the essentials… and according to her Daddy, pajamas were not essential.
She couldn’t argue there.
“Time for bed, little monkeys,” Rueben said softly. It was a testament to the exciting day they’d had when Adam didn’t even argue.
Both Adam and Alisha crawled onto the huge bed, Adam wrapping his arms around her. With a kiss on their heads Rueben tucked them in before turning out the light. Alisha’s heart melted completely when a single soft light illuminated the room. Rueben had a starry-sky night light!
“Night little monkeys,” he whispered to them before settling down in a large recliner next to the bed.
“Night, Daddy,” Alisha mumbled before settling in against Adam’s chest. She didn’t give a single thought to the nasty way her day had started or wondered enough to ask why her Daddy wasn’t getting into bed with her.
The only thing that mattered? Life had never felt so perfect.
Chapter 16
“Good morning, little miss, time to wake up,” A sexy voice drew Alisha from her slumber. A hand was moving down her waist, lifting her sleep shirt to tickle the bare skin.
“Nuh-uh. I don’t wanna,” she mumbled, shaking her head, but she was unable to stop herself from smiling at the sexy chuckle that Adam rewarded her with.
