Royal called on all the Bennett soldiers the day after you went to the airfield, everyone thinks he was fucking around and didn’t care about Chaos. The truth is, he was waiting for his army to get into position to take Chance down. The Governor doesn’t stand a chance against my cousins, they are going to murder him and there isn’t anything anyone can do to stop him.”
“Even if what you say is true, I’m marked by Chanel.”
Amelia rolls her eyes and waves away my concern. “Chanel is a bitch.” I snort out a laugh earning a smile from the doctor. “She wants you dead because you are a threat to what they have built. Unlike Royal, Havoc and Chaos, Chanel has had to work twice as hard to prove she is worthy because in this life, women aren’t seen as equals. You taking Royal’s attention scares her because she doesn’t want him to forget the end goal.”
“Which is?”
“To take over Miami and then when the time comes for Uncle Bishop to step down, they will take New York and continue to expand until they outdo their parents.”
“How do I affect that plan?” She pulls the shirt down to expose the wound on my shoulder and gently removes the bandage to check the wound.
“She’s scared Royal is going to grow content with just Miami and New York and not want to take over more places.”
“Why does she want that?”
“She wants the four of them to take over the major cities, Miami, New York, LA, Chicago and so on. She wants to prove to the world and her father that she is good enough. Her and Royal both want to prove to their fathers that they are worthy, the twins are just along for the ride because they enjoy the thrill of it.”
“I would never want to distract him from goals he has set or come between any of them, not that I think I could.”
“You didn’t need to try to come between them, his feelings for you have already driven a wedge between him and them. If Chanel tries to honor her calling card, Royal will take her out. He hates being told he’s like his father but the truth is, just like Uncle Bishop did, Royal will start a war for you whether you want him to or not because that is what being loved by a Murdoch is like.”

We’re a block away from Chance’s house on the beach. Marco, Terry, Benny, Sin, Havoc and I all stand around the hood of the car where Terry has the blueprints of the house laid out. He points out the entry points and the best places to enter without detection. With how close his house is to the others we’re all using silencers, taking out the Governor is going to cause problems but I don’t care, I’ll deal with that shit later.
“There’s no basement so that means Chaos is being held in one of these rooms.” I say point to the four bedrooms on the second level.
“We have a full tactical team ready to extract him while you three create the distraction.” Benny says.
“Good, hang back until I give the signal.” The three of them nod as they each leave to go inform their teams of the plan. Benny was the chief of staff for Grandpa, Terry ran all tactical teams and Marco and his team are the cleaners. Benny has been monitoring and scoping out this place for two days now. He told us Chance is antsy and has his men rotating every four hours to make sure they are fresh and alert for an attack. He knows we have funneled all the money he’s laundered, the fucker is failing at being governor badly. He’s missed meetings, press conferences, hospital wing openings and all that other shit so they shouldn’t miss him too much when I kill the cunt.
The three of us climb in the car, I drive us to Chance’s house, the minute I put the car in park men come out from all directions, I look beside me to Sin and nod. We exit the car leaving Havoc and Margaret in the back.
“Drop the fucking gun.” Some pussy yells but I ignore the cunt and keep my gun at my side, Sin slides up next to me with her own gun in hand and knives strapped to her legs.
“Unless you want your boss's mother’s throat slit, I suggest you go fetch him like a good little bitch.” The fucker snarls at Sin, she doesn’t cower. This cunt has another thing coming if he thinks he scares her, the girl is fucking crazy! She’s already in a bad mood because I told her I wanted her by my side instead of being perched on a roof doing what she does best and being a sniper. He brings his wrist to his mouth and says to get Chance, we stand here relaxed and unbothered by the sheer number of men surrounding us, if they are all here then that means there would only be one or two men guarding Chaos.
“Kill them!” I dart my gaze to the front door where a disheveled looking Chance stands.
“Do that and your mother dies.” I growl, the fucker couldn’t play poker to save his life. He tries to hide the fear from his face but fails.
“You’re lying, my mother left town.”
I shake my head and tsk him, “I would have believed that but then my girl told me she locked mommy dearest in the attic before we all left for that meet. You know, the one where you called the fucking feds like a rat bitch.”
“Your girl?” I stand taller and harden my stare as I scowl at the fucker.
“Yeah,mygirl.” His nostrils flare as he comes toward us but of course he makes sure to stand behind his men instead of facing me head on like a man.
“After we kill you three, I’m going to kill that bastard inside and then go retrieve my fiancée and show her how I treat disobedient pets. I’ll make sure she knows how a real man fucks.” Growling I step forward ready to beat the shit out of this bastard until Sin places a hand on my chest holding me in place.
“After I kill you, I’m going to fuck her right next to your rotting corpse so she knows she will never have to fear the thought of your pin-sized cock going near her.” His face turns beat red, and he starts shouting but I ignore him as I hear Terry give me an update in my earpiece.
