Cozy, right. I blinked and looked over my shoulder at Alejandro who was standing grimly behind me in the doorway looking none too pleased at the situation. As per the orders from Mr. Hansen we were booked into a luxury three bedroom suite in the hotel by the track. Forced socialization, it seemed, was not going to be kept just to the track and media appearances. We were going to be friends by the end of this if it killed us.And it just might kill some of us, I thought.

“Ok,” I said, “at least we each have our own bedroom, right?” Grabbing my luggage from the star-struck and uncomfortable bellman, I walked further into the suite and scoped out the beds. No way was I getting stuck in the worst room. If I was going to be bunking with two sweaty men I needed to sleep in comfort, and far from their smell. The image of both drivers standing with their racing suits unzipped, sweating through their thin shirts suddenly filled my mind.Stop it!I yelled at my brain. This was so not the time to remember how freaking hot these guys are. Annoying and sweaty and a pain in the ass. That’s it. Like smelly brothers.

Jason smiled and glanced back at Alejandro. “A, be a dear and tip the man?” He suddenly sprinted past me. “Dibs on the best view!”

“Hey!” I yelled.

I saw Alejandro roll his eyes as he pulled a roll of bills from his pocket and peeled off several for the bellman. “You’d better hurry because you know he’ll start farting on whichever bed he wants.”

Groaning, I dropped my bag and ran to one of the unoccupied rooms. The bed was descent size and the view –

“Hey, nice view!” I whirled around and saw Jason standing in the doorway. “I think you’re in my room,” he smiled.

“Nope!” I reached over and slammed the door in his face. “This one’s mine!” I flipped the lock just to be sure.

Sighing, I collapsed onto the bed and stared out of the window. I needed to remember that this was my dream job. Just because I was stuck babysitting two grown men didn’t mean that I was going to have a bad time. I was fast becoming an expert in my field and working for a fucking formula one team! Things were looking up and I needed to keep them that way.

I stood and walked over to the adjoining bathroom, stopping when I realized one crucial thing. It wasn’t just adjoining my room.

The door directly across from me was propped open to reveal a shirtless Jason removing his belt.Oh my. If I thought he was attractive fully clothed and sweaty from driving, this was a whole other level. The Australian sun shone through his window, shining off of his chest and glittering off the fine hairs on his arms. I could not tear my eyes away as he began to undo the button of his jeans, the tip of my tongue swiping at my top lip.

Just then he glanced up and I looked away as fast as I could, quickly closing my door. But not before I saw the heat in his eyes and a knowing grin spread across his face.

I turned, pressing my back to the door and groaned.Fuck.

Chapter Five

Luckily for my libido, the rest of the day passed quickly in a blur of team meetings and media appearances. Alejandro and Jason continued to be cold towards one another, but I think everyone chalked it up to nerves. I hoped that was the case, at least. Jason said nothing about me ogling him in his hotel room and I gave my emotions a stern talking to.No lusting after your coworkers.

By evening, however, the tension between the two drivers had become thick enough that I felt it necessary to try to do something. As we left an interview with a local race sponsor I pulled them to the side. “Do you two think this is working?”

They both looked at me quizzically. “Is what working?” asked Alejandro. “Did we not give the right answers in there?”

“No, your answers were fine,” I responded. And they should have been. The men had been given a literal script to review before we went into the interview. “But the vibe between you two. It’s not working.”

“The vibe?” laughed Jason.
