I nod.

“Good girl,” he mouths.

His hips swing at the right pace with the right intensity.

The buildup is sublime.

He bites my earlobe, and I lose it.

To prevent a loud scream, I bite the palm of his hand.

“Shit!”

He pulls his hand away, squeezes hard at my tit and crushes my lips with his.

Cassie warned me not to expect kisses. It’s too intimate.

I chalked off our first kiss as a reaction to the fear of being caught at the restaurant.

Yesterday, I chalked it off as Bryce wanting to assert his dominance and remind me. I was with him and no other man.

An alarm rings in my head.

Danger zone.

This man is messing with my head. And my heart.

I’m fucked. In more ways than one.

The only way out is for me to demand he stop kissing me.

Chapter 6

Sofia

I’m exhausted when the flight lands in Paris at twelve-thirty a.m. local time. I can’t wait for us to get to our hotel, so I can crawl into bed.

Charles de Gaulle Airport is always a crazy adventure because there are so many tourists who come in and out of Paris on any given day. Making it through customs, usually takes an hour—often times, more.

Private jets land at Paris Le Bourget Airport. It’s a matter of answering a few questions, and we’re on our way with no wait time.

Money makes things much easier.

I was scared shitless Bryce would see my passport—and my real name—but I remembered, unless you’re married or accompanying children, customs officials require travelers wait their turn.

I dodged that bullet.

After grabbing our bags, we head towards the exit.

I love Paris at night.
