“What?That’sfucking ridiculous!”Fiercegrowled.

“Wereally just need to get home to theKindredMothership,”Holdsaid, shooting his brother a warning glance. “Ifyou can’t fix our ship, maybe you can allow us to use your long-distance communicator?Imean, if you have one?” he added hopefully.

La’ver’nashook her head.

“Ifear we possess no such capabilities.Ourcommunications array does not extend past our own planet.Wehave no need to speak to anyone outside our own community.”

“Thenwhat in theSevenHellsare we supposed to do?”Fiercedemanded. “We’restranded here!”

“IfearIcannot help you.”Thepriestess shrugged, clearly unconcerned. “Come, my steeds—we must away,” she remarked and reached out to tap her two goat men on the tops of their heads.

Celiacouldn’t believe the unicorn woman was just going to leave them stranded—they needed to get home! She’dbeen standing silently all this time, but now she felt she had to speak up.

“Wait!” she exclaimed, and pushed her way out from betweenFierceandHold. “Wait, please!”

Thepriestess tapped her men on the tops of their horned heads again and they swung back around so that she was facing them.

“Yes?” she said, lifting an eyebrow atCelia. “Whatis it you wish, little goddess?”

“Oh, uh…”Celiacleared her throat. “Iwanted to ask, what if we joined you?Imean, what if we became members of theSisterhoodofPeace?Wouldyou fix our ship then?”

“Ofcourse we would.”ThePriestessgave her a radiant smile. “Wewould fix your ship so that you could spread the light of theGoddessof theShiningHeartto all the universe!”

“Thenwe’d like to join,”Celiasaid quickly. “Aslong as we’re allowed to leave as soon as our ship is repaired so we can, uh, spread theGoddess’slight.”

La’ver’nagave them all a critical look.

“Well, you come in the correct numbers, at least—a goddess must have at least two worshippers—though of course, more is better.”

“Um…worshippers?”Celiaasked, looking up to catchHoldandFierce’seyes.Holdlooked intrigued andFiercewas frowning, but neither of them had said anything against the plan of joining the religious order yet.

“Whyyes, little goddess.”La’ver’nasmiled benevolently. “Imyself have twelve males who worship me.Thesetwo steeds,C’lavineandL’ornginare only two of them.Tellme…”Sheleaned forward and looked atCeliaintently. “Dothese males give you pleasure?Sexualpleasure?”

“Well, uh…yes.Yes, they do,”Celiaadmitted.Shecould feel her cheeks getting hot as she remembered the things she andHoldandFiercehad done together the night before.

“Isee.”Thepriestess nodded and turned her attention toHoldandFierce. “Andyou two—do you worship your goddess often and well?”

“Worshipher in what way?”Holdasked carefully.

“Withyour bodies, of course—with your fingers and your tongues and your cocks!Whatother wayisthere to worship a goddess?”La’ver’nademanded.

“Theydo—they do all of that,”Celialied recklessly, before either of the big warriors could answer. “Theykeep meveryhappy and they’re uh, extremely skilled. That’swhyIonly need two of them—not twelve,” she added, improvising some.

“Isee…Isee…”Theunicorn priestess nodded thoughtfully, her tiny spiral horn winking like a star on her forehead. “Verywell,” she said at last. “Weshall accept you for a trial period, during which time we will fix your ship.Ifat the end of the trial when your ship is fixed, you wish to join theSisterhoodofPeace, we will make you full members and you can go back to your home world and spread the light of theGoddessto all who will listen.”

“Thatsounds wonderful!”Celiasaid gratefully.Sheclasped her hands together at her heart. “Ipromise, we’ll do our very best to learn your ways so we can spread theGoddess’slight.”

“Inthat case, you’d best get started.Asthese two are your only worshippers, they must also be your steeds…er, what is your name, little goddess?IfearIdid not catch it earlier,”La’ver’nasaid.

“I’mCeliaand this isHoldand this isFierce,”Celiasaid, making introductions for all of them.

“Apleasure to meet you all.NowHoldandFierce, step down onto the ground and offer your little goddess your shoulders to ride upon.”

HoldandFierceshared a glance overCelia’shead, but neither one said a word.Instead, they stepped down from the shuttle to the grassy ground and stood shoulder-to-shoulder withFierceon the left andHoldon the right.

“Verygood. Now, little goddess, be so good as to seat yourself on the shoulders of your steeds,” the priestess instructed. “Laterwe can have a harness and a goddess seat made for them so they can carry you properly, but for now you must ride upon them as they are.”

“I, uh, don’t mind walking,”Celiaoffered. “Ifyou want me to wait to ride on them until we have a, uh goddess seat made.”Itseemed to her that riding on both the guys’ shoulders was going to be a precarious business.Theywere both so tall, her head was going to be almost nine feet up in the air if she sat on them.
