“Are you doing okay?” he whispered in her ear.
“Yes, Sir.” Her voice was strong and her eyes clear.
Gabriel turned and picked up one of the light floggers. Again, he talked to the audience as he flogged her, checking in with her several times. Her ass had turned a pretty shade of pink. Next, he picked up one of the paddles.
“This paddle is twofold,” he said to the audience, holding it up in such a way that he knew Dani could see it too. He didn’t want to surprise her. “One side is covered with soft fabric, and the other is not.” He turned the soft fabric side down and swatted Dani with it.
She went up on her toes and gasped. Gabriel glanced at her, and she smiled at him and mouthed, “I’m okay.”
Gabriel continued with the demo until Dani was moaning and going on her toes with almost every swat. He looked into her glazed eyes. “Impression paddle is next. Time to switch out.”
“Yes, Sir.”
He released the restraints, put a blanket around her, and guided her to Zeke, who ushered her to the sofa where Allyson sat so Dani could finish watching the demo. Hannah took Dani’s place. Within minutes, Hannah was ready.
Gabriel walked over and picked up the impression paddle. He held the paddle up to the audience and heard some oohs and ahhs.
“This impression paddle has holes in it. How hard you use it determines how much of an impression it will leave and how long it will last. I don’t believe in marking a sub for more than a few minutes. That isn’t to say she won’t be aware the next day of what happened.”
He flicked the paddle against Hannah’s ass. He glanced at Dani in the audience. Her eyes were wide, and her mouth open, but she’d leaned forward. She didn’t seem afraid of what he was doing.
Gabriel’s swatted her other ass cheek. It turned red, and the audience could see the impression of the paddle for just a moment before it faded.
“Okay?” he asked Hannah, rubbing her butt.
“Yes, Sir.”
When the paddle came down again, it was harder. Hannah yelped. On it went with him stopping to check in with her. Each time, she told him she was fine.
After a few more strikes, Gabriel stopped the demo. He helped Hannah up and put a blanket around her. He started to escort her to the aftercare area.
“I’m fine, Sir,” Hannah said. “That was nice warm-up. Take care of Dani.”
Gabriel glanced over to where Dani was sitting. Her eyes were closed, but there was a small smile on her face. He marched over to her, picked her up, and carried her in his arms over to the aftercare area, and sat down with her in his lap.
Dani curled into his embrace. He was surprised at how well she took the demo. After everything she had said, he’d been worried. More than worried. Afraid this would damage their budding relationship. But his girl took it like a champ. He was proud of her.
“Please stop worrying.” Her voice was soft. When he glanced down, he saw her eyes were open— a bit unfocused, but alight with wonder.
“Was I too hard on you?”
“No. I’ve never felt anything like that before.” Gabriel wondered what that meant. “It wasn’t a bad thing, so don’t start worrying. Watching you with Hannah and the impression paddle…I have to tell you: It’s euphoric.”
“So I’ve heard.” He shifted her on his lap, and she moaned.
“I know I’m going to feel this tomorrow, but it’s going to be a good feeling. It will remind me how you made me feel tonight.”
“And how was that?” He really wanted to know what was going on inside her head.
“Wanted. Taken care of.”
His heart swelled. “I will always take care of you.”

Dani laid in Gabriel’s arms. His words warmed her heart. Her ass burned, but it was that good kind of burn. She didn’t know how to explain it. When he’d started, the swats were soft, almost too soft, but as they progressed, the swats got harder.
Her skin tingled as the heat from the spanking flowed through her body and turned into pure pleasure. When he’d switched to Hannah, she was a little disappointed. She almost asked him to continue, but stopped. She needed to see how Gabriel handled the impression paddle. Snug in the blanket Gabriel had draped over her, Zeke led her to a seat next to Allyson so they could watch.
