Colby switched to a bison flogger. It had wider falls so would be thuddy and not stinging. As he flogged Dani’s butt, she had no reaction at all. A wince here and there, but nothing big. Oh yes, something was off for sure. His woman was not enjoying this.
“I can’t continue to let this happen,” he muttered, and he strode toward the stage. No one stopped him this time.
Colby shifted his attention as Gabriel mounted the stage and nodded. “It’s about time,” he muttered.
Gabriel ignored him and walked over to Dani. “Sweetheart,” he said, laying his hand on her cheek. “Baby, you are not enjoying this, are you?”
“Not really, Sir.”
With the ‘sir’ his breath caught. “But you’ve enjoyed this with me.”
Dani closed her eyes but not before he saw the misery in them. “So?” Her tone was flat yet defiant.
“Do you want me to flog you?”
Her eyes widened. After a long minute, when his heart almost stopped, she answered him, “Yes, Sir. Please.”
His heart lightened. She reacted to him. He ran his hand over her back to her boy shorts. “These need to come off.”
“Yes, Sir.”
The way she was positioned over the spanking horse, it was easy for him to remove her shorts, and to add a little extra, he restrained her legs.
Gabriel rubbed her ass before he stepped back. Colby gestured to the table. Gabriel’s bag sat there. “I think I’ve been set up,” he muttered.
Colby just grinned. “I’ll do a running commentary from the floor.” He hopped off the stage. “Gabriel is going to take over with his sub.”
Gabriel took a deep breath to center himself as he pulled his floggers out. Bison, cow suede, and braided. Packed the week before and never touched since. He picked up the bison flogger. Dani was relaxed over the spanking horse. Good.
“He’s starting off with the bison flogger. The only reason he can start with that is because his sub is already warmed up.”
Gabriel let the flogger fly, and Dani released a small moan. Two more strikes, and he stopped, rubbing her ass. He could hear Colby talking, but his focus was all on Dani. “I’m going to use the cow suede next,” he whispered to her.
“Yes, Sir.” Her voice was soft, but there was no distress.
Ten swats with the cow suede flogger and she’d gone up and down on her toes for each of them. He rubbed her ass—a nice, red color now—every two to three hits. “How are you doing?”
Her eyes were closed, her breathing rapid. “Fine, Sir.”
“Open your eyes, sweetheart.” She did. They were clear and filled with desire. “I really do love you, Dani.” He leaned over and kissed her.
“I love you too.” Her voice was soft.
A sense of contentment enveloped Gabriel. One he hadn’t felt since he was with Dani in college. Gabriel stepped back, letting all the worry and fear go. He trusted Dani as much as she trusted him. She was his, and it was past time he gave her what she wanted.

Dani closed her eyes when Gabriel stepped away. Her body was so hot and needy. So different from when Colby flogged her. She’d been going through the motions with Colby, but with Gabriel…she couldn’t.
They might have had a week apart, but her body craved his touch. The flogger hit her ass, and she gasped. He was using the braided flogger. She was sure of it.
The other two floggers were warmups for this one. At the second swat, her nerves jumped and tingled. While there was a moment of pain, it disappeared quickly. Gabriel rubbed her ass, then another hit came.
By the time he hit ten, she was moaning constantly. Her body was floating and her muscles lax. This was what she needed…from the right person. Two more swats, and he rubbed her ass again. She was starting to drift into that blissful state.
“So beautiful.” His body pressed against hers. The pressure made her blood sing. His lips caressed her back. “I’m going to undo your wrists.”
“Yes, Sir.” Part of her was disappointed he wasn’t continuing with the flogging, but another part knew it was time to stop. She wasn’t in subspace yet but darn close. Gabriel moved, and a blanket was placed over her back.
