“Of course you aren’t.” Was he finally coming to the realization? She’d known it for years.

“When you pulled away in college, I let you because I truly believed I couldn’t commit to one woman, but now—” He ran his fingers over her face.

“Now?”

“I love you, and while it scares me, I am committed to you and only you. I probably have been since college. I was just too stubborn to see it.”

“Oh, Gabriel.” She looped her arms around his neck.

“I felt you pulling away and thought maybe you needed something more.”

“I was lost in my own head. It wasn’t until after I left for San Francisco that I talked with someone. I should have told you.”

He put his fingers over her lips. “It’s okay.”

She nodded. “I don’t want to push you into a commitment. Knowing you love me is more than enough.” It was. He hadn’t said the words back then, but he had tonight, and she was going to put her trust in him and his words.

“I’m glad you did. It made me think.” He gazed down at her. “Can we start over one more time? This time, I promise not to be an ass but the man you love.”

“Gabriel, I’ve never stopped loving you. I’ve always loved you.”

“Yes,” he shouted, and did a fist pump before he lowered his head to capture her lips with his. When they both came up for air, they were surrounded by their friends.

“It’s about time,” Allyson said.

Dani’s face grew hot, along with her body. She gathered the blanket around her lower half. Gabriel chuckled, but helped her.

“Who says you can’t teach an old Dom new tricks?” Sierra quipped.

“Who are you calling old?” Max glared at her.

“No one, Sir.” Her eyes twinkled with mischief.

“You two have ten minutes before I unveil the expansion,” Max said, and took Sierra’s arm and led her away.

“Oh boy, Sierra is going to have a sore ass tonight,” Crystal’s observation was met with unanimous agreement.

“I need to find my shorts and put them on,” Dani whispered.

“Here you go.” Tessa dropped them into her lap.

Dani closed her eyes and groaned.

“No embarrassment. We’re all family here,” Lara said.

Family. That felt right. Dani looked at Gabriel. He looked a little stunned. Their friends dispersed, so Dani stood with the blanket around her and slipped on her shorts. Her ass protested the fabric, but she liked the little tingles flowing through her body. It reminded her of how much Gabriel cared for her. Enough to give her what she needed.

It also reminded her of who she belonged to. Gabriel. Yes, she belonged to him. “Let me put the blanket in the used basket.” She made her way to the basket and back to Gabriel in record time. Hand in hand, they walked over to where everyone stood.

Max stood at the midpoint of a big plastic sheet, with Jordan at one end and Damon at the other. “As you know, we”—he nodded to Jordan and Damon—“decided to expand the club. Zeke and Gabriel did a fantastic job with the plans and construction. Dani did all the landscaping. Let’s thank them.”

The crowd clapped and called out words of thanks and great work. Max held his hands up. “Tonight, I’m going to unveil the new part of our club. In the next few weeks, on Thursday nights, demos will be given on the new equipment. No one can use the equipment until they’ve attended the demos.”

Max gripped the plastic, along with Jordan and Damon, they pulled. The plastic fell.

Dani couldn’t help but gasp. The new area was filled with equipment she hadn’t seen before. There was a row of rooms with numbers on the doors and a new back door with a sign that said, “Play Garden.”

“As you can see, we have some new and exciting equipment, but also four rooms that can be enjoyed for some privacy.”
