“I doubt anyone could ever handle me,” Madam said. “I’m a difficult woman.”
“You’re a force to be reckoned with,” Zin said. “But I’m sure there is someone for you.”
“Someone brave,” Toras said.
“Someone like my sergeant…” Zin teased.
“Oh hush. That was just a fling. You know he couldn’t keep up with me.”
“You broke his heart,” Zin sighed, although he was smiling.
“Where is everyone else?” I asked, looking around the dining hall.
