"I ran you a bath," Kai says, reaching his hand out. "Come with me, Angel."
I feel his arms around me, and then I'm suddenly lifted up and out of the blankets to be cradled against his chest. I can hear the others downstairs, talking quietly in their deep voices, and I can smell food.
My stomach rumbles.
"I'm hungry again, Kai," I complain.
"After you're all cleaned up, beautiful," he says. "We made quite the mess of you."
I bite my lip and look at him. "I liked it."
He laughs, and I feel the deep rumble of his voice in his chest. It sets me at ease, my body humming. "Keep talking like that and you're never having a knot-less bath again."
I reach up and touch the mark on my neck. "Does this mean you'd want to stay with me?"
He presses a kiss to my forehead. "I don't know you, so I want to make sure we both are sure...but maybe. And that's more than I've ever said to another omega."
I smile. "I'll take it."
I feel the steam on my body as we enter the bathroom, and the smell of soap and bath oils overwhelms the scent of food from downstairs. I let out a contented sigh and I open my eyes as Kai lowers me into the bath, the warm water wrapping me up in its embrace.
"Mm..." I groan. "God, Kai, that's incredible."
He kneels next to the tub. "Nowhere near as incredible as you, angel," he murmurs. "You deserve it."
I meet his deep brown eyes, resting my head on the back of the tub. He's gone the extra yard in getting this ready for me--candles line the opposite edge of the jacuzzi tub, and bubbles cover the surface. Kai covers my hand with his and grins.
"I don't think it's over yet," I whisper.
"I know, angel," he says. "That's why, after this, I'm gonna take you downstairs...and then all three of us will keep you satisfied until you're all done with that pesky heat."
I suck in a breath as I remember being with all three of them--Porter in my ass, Kai in my pussy, Callum...
"Is Callum mad?" I whisper.
Kai shakes his head. "He's...confused. Worried about what Inari will say. And I think a little hurt that he didn't join in."
I reach up and touch the bandage again, but it doesn't hurt at all. In fact, I think the bites were so gentle they might already be healing. "I wouldn't mind," I say quietly.
"You can tell him that when we get downstairs," he smiles.
I peek out the window to my left, a glazed over, tiny portal to a winter wonderland. "Blizzard's still going," I whisper. "Are we stranded out here?"
Kai shakes his head. "Callum got a hold of security at the Summit. They'll send transport for us when we call after the storm is over, and they told us they've neutralized all known ACB forces on the property. You're safe."
"After the storm or...?"
"After your heat," he smirks. "We get use of the lodge, free of charge. In fact, your whole stay is on the house, thanks to...well, you know. The kidnapping."
I laugh. "How nice of Inari."
He squeezes my hand. "And you know you could stay, don't you?"
"What do you mean?"
He shrugs. "Indefinitely. She would be happy to offer you work. And then...then we could be together. Me and you and Callum...and even Porter, if you want."
I bite my lip. I don't know why, but something about the idea of leaving, of being here with these three alphas in this frozen paradise for the rest of my life, fills me with excitement. "I...I'd like that."
