His lips brushed the top of my shoulder with another kiss, and I felt his gaze move slowly down my figure. His tattoo-covered hands slid up my torso, and I leaned against his chest as they teased my bare breasts.

“No bra?” He nipped at my ear.

“Nope.” My eyes closed, and his fingers continued toying with my nipples.

“Are you going to let me drink your lust tonight, Tater-tot?” His tongue dragged over my earlobe.

We both knew he had already recovered from his time in prison. His skin had tanned to match his brothers, and his eyes never went red with hunger anymore. He’d recoveredweeksearlier.

And yet, neither of us had brought it up.

Neither of us had put an end to the twice-daily feedings.

We both enjoyed it too much for that.

I couldn’t have drank his lust that frequently if I tried, but as his brothers had told me, male demons were insatiable.

And shit, I definitely benefitted from that.

“You know I am, Riffraff.” I pulled his hands off my chest, turning in his arms. When I started undoing his buttons, he effortlessly pulled his bowtie apart.

A knock at the door interrupted us, and I huffed.

His lips curved upward wickedly. “You said you were hungry.”

“I changed my mind.”

He clicked his tongue, and stepped away from me. When he reached the door, he glanced over and motioned for me to step to the side.

I must’ve been within view of the doorway.

Dutifully, I moved out of the way.

The door opened, and after a moment, closed again as Rafael rolled a cart of food inside.

“Tell me I’m brilliant,” he drawled, with a sweeping gesture toward the food.

“You’re brilliant. So is your mom.” I strode up to the cart, my mouth watering when I saw the food. My horniness? Gone. Lust for the buttery steak in front of me had replaced it. “Strip down to your underwear and eat with me, Riffraff.”

He didn’t waste any time doing so, and we both grabbed our plates before collapsing on the bed together with them. I propped my back up against the headboard, and he sprawled out over the end of the bed, lifting my feet so they rested on his back while he was on his stomach.

I basically inhaled my food. While Rafael enjoyed his, he ate much slower. The bastard had probably been snacking throughout the party, while I had a belly full of coffee and nothing else.

His tail moved lazily through the air for a few minutes, making its way toward my feet. The warm length of it began slowly stroking up and down my ankles and calves, those rigid bumps dragging slowly over my skin and making my body warm.

“I’d like to hear more about your family life. We haven’t talked about it much,” Rafael said, as I cleared my plate.

“I don’t like to talk about them much,” I admitted. “I stay away from them for the most part. With how busy the coffee shop gets during the holidays, I have an excuse not to go home, too. Miles doesn’t have any family left, so as you know, we always celebrate together. There’s not much more to it than that. My brother bullied me, my parents helped him do it, and none of them respect me because I chose a different path.”

His tail continued stroking my legs.

“I think there’s more to it, Tater-tot.”

“Like what?”

“Like the reason you glare at the luxury cars in the garage.”

I sighed. “I guess I just don’t like rich people after everything. It’s not the money I mind—I don’t give a shit about the money. It’s all just a physical reminder of everything. I see an expensive car, or your fancy suits, and I feel like I’m stepping back into that world I hated. My life has been so much better since I escaped it, and I don’t like feeling as if I’m being pulled back in.”
