“Jade,” he sighs. He carefully puts me in his bed. It smells like him too.

The room is a dark blue from that time Ethan, him, and I painted it in high school. The paint is chipped in many areas now, but I can’t see much else. It’s probably still early morning, according to the deep blue sky outside.

He’s got no nightstand, no alarm clock anywhere. Just a bed and an old chest of drawers that still has Pokémon stickers from when he was a kid.

Elliot slides in next to me. It’s only when he pulls the covers up our bodies that I notice he’s in nothing but boxers. I have a split second to catch the ridges of his abs, his strong chest, the scars on it. White and thick.

“Jade,” he repeats softly. His hand comes to my cheek. He rubs his thumb under my left eye, then traces the scar I have at the corner, grazing it all the way to my hairline. “You cried.”

He doesn’t care, I have to remind myself. He just wants to see it.

When I don’t say anything, his hand lowers, grabbing my cheeks and pouting my lips. He turns me to face him, his blue eyes the only light in the darkness. “You cried without me?”

I want to retort something, but he tightens his grip on me. “You didn’t think I’d want to see that? Baby, you know how much I love to see you cry. How could you do this to me?”

My body is still heavy from sleep, my limbs paralyzed from the kind of tiredness I can’t control.

“Elliot,” I grunt, but the consonants are barely audible.

Grabbing my hand, he presses it against his hard-on. All that separates his silky skin from mine are his boxers.

“Just the thought of it,” he whispers, his voice gravelly. “I know you’d never cry in front of us. You’re too strong and stubborn for that. You wouldn’t want anyone to see you as anything but the heartless bitch you pretend to be.”

I twist, attempting to retreat, but something stops me.

My body.

My desires.

The memories of the things we used to do.

It’s the way he makes me feel. That tingling sensation of electricity coursing through my body. The dampness I can feel in the boxers I’m wearing. His.

“But for me…you’d do it for me, right? You’ll do anything for me now.”

I take in a ragged breath.

“Do you understand your situation, Jade? You’re mine now.”

In a small but strong gesture, he brings me closer to him, his lips against my ear.

“Say it,” he rasps.

I’d love to fight back, but I’m exhausted. Everything feels wrong. I’m still dirty and sticky from last night. I just want to sleep and forget.

“I’m yours.”

“Now give it to me.”

He senses my confusion. I know he does because I feel his smile against my ear. “Consent. To play with you however I want. Even when you’re in states where you can’t fight back. Even when you’re sleeping. You wanted the deal, and it comes with all of that. So say it.”

The hand holding mine against his dick closes into a fist, forcing my fingers to grab his thickness.

“Fuck,” I sigh.

The mere fact of holding him, without him touching me anywhere near my pussy, makes me need him. If he wasn’t keeping my cheeks hostage, I would probably already be panting for him. It’s an unfair advantage he has that I know the sort of heaven a devil like him can take me to.

I shake my head, or at least I try.
