“Come on, Aria.”

She shook her head and slid her leg over his.

Evan let out an exasperated sigh, ignoring his arousal.

“Your heart’s beating fast.” She noticed.

“I’m frustrated.” He glided his hand down her lower back. “I want to help you feel better.”

“You are. I just don’t want to talk about it.”

The rainfall was heavy, hitting the rooftop as thunder rumbled in the distance.

“You’re the man in the photos. Aren’t you?” Aria changed the subject.

“Yes.”

“Are those women your trophy ex-girlfriends or what?”

“Trophies?” He chuckled. “No. More likeoneex-girlfriend.”

“Is it the woman with the diamonds?”

“Yes.”

She stayed quiet. “Why didn’t you tell me it was you?”

“I wasn’t planning on you finding out. I assume you saw my tattoo.”

“Yes.” Aria paused. “I didn’t know you were so…”

“I’m a sex addict,” he shamelessly confessed. “I love sex.”

She felt a squeezing pull in her stomach when he said that three letter word.

“Oh. I, um… didn’t know that. I’m sorry if I’m prying.” She sat up and tried not to stare at his naked body. “I shouldn’t be in here. Sorry again for waking you.” Aria was about to leave when Evan grabbed her arm.

“Like I said before”—his gaze was intense—“you really need to stop apologizing for things that aren’t your fault. Does it bother you I have pictures of naked women hanging on my wall?”

“No, it’s your life. You can do what you want.”

“You said you liked his physique.”

“Yeah, that was before I knew it was you.”

“Otherwise, you wouldn’t have confessed?”

She stayed silent.

“We’re not related, Aria.”

“I know that.”

“You’re attracted to me.”

“What?” She laughed.

“I know you’re attracted to me. I can see it in the way you look at me.”
