“Good,” I sigh with relief as he sets a root beer down in front of me, and a regular beer for himself on the coffee table.

“So who’s craving the root beer and who’s craving the pineapple?” he asks with a grin, sitting down next to me and pulling my feet into his lap.

“Well, normally I’d say that I’m the one craving the root beer, but I’m thinking Amanda’s caught onto it,” I theorize, simply because she’s the girl that we’re naming after Kaleb’s mother.

Kaleb leans over and presses his mouth to the right side of my belly where she sits. “Amanda Violet,” he addresses her with a mock sternness in his voice. “Your mother does not need more root beer, you hear me? And that must mean Mr. Alex Benjamin is craving the pineapple that had to cover half the pizza I just ordered,” he snickers. I smirk and roll my eyes again as I brush the strands of his hair out of his face while he places a kiss to my belly and sits back up. He starts massaging my foot which makes my head drop back on the cushions in ecstasy and I let out a moan I’m helpless to hold in.

“Hey, watch it with that,” Kaleb chuckles. “You’re going to make me tent these jeans with sounds like that.”

“Hey, not in front of the kids,” I joke. “And you’re going to hear a lot more than that when that pizza gets here. I’m starving.”

“Please,” he scoffs. “I said and did worse things to you last night.”

After driving my poor husband insane while I moan around countless bites of pineapple pizza while we watch reruns of Sons of Anarchy, he’s had enough and decides to take me to bed. After gingerly helping me up off the couch, leads me over to the bed where we get undressed and he lays me down.

“Truth or dare?” he whispers down at me in the dark.

“Truth,” I say easily, as I trace a fingertip down the contours of his chest.

“Is there anything about our life that you would change?” he asks, though his features in the dark tell me he doesn’t have a single worry; he just wants to hear it.

“Not a thing,” I tell him truthfully. “Your turn.”

“Dare,” he smirks and tips his chin up at me cockily which makes a smile pull at the sides of my mouth.

“I dare you to show me how much you love me.”

“I said dare you goof, that’s the easiest thing in the world,” he chides down at me. “But anything for my silly girl,” he adds, bringing his mouth down on mine.
