Page 26 of Her Twisted Beasts

“Black silk. Fuck.” I hold it to my nose and inhale her arousal. “It’s wet too, gentlemen.”

Beads of sweat form over her brow. She’ll be a beautiful queen at our sides. The fighter in her rises and bares its teeth. “You son-of-a-bitch!” She tries to fight her way off the table but that isn’t happening until we untie her. And that might not happen for a while. I kind of like having her at our mercy. “My God, do you have no shame?”

“No. That is one question for you so it’s our turn again.”

She stops thrashing long enough to gap at me in obvious surprise.

“Close that mouth, sweetheart or I’ll find a use for it.” Victor is never one to waste an excellent opportunity. He sweeps in, taking our captive’s mouth. She gasps and groans around my friend’s lips. The tip of his finger keeps her chin tilted up so he can devour her freely. She parts her lips for him, and I marvel at the way she so easily follows his lead. She’ll do well when we have her between us.

My attention drifts over her body. Creamy soft skin. Warm and supple to the touch. There’s not a blemish on her but frankly I wouldn’t care. It’s her spirit and tenacity that call my attention. She was shunned and yet fought her way through this fucked up world to make a place for herself. How she did that is what I want to know. Did she have a lover? Five? Would I care? Not really. I want to know how she went from pampered princess with a rebel cause to working at Club Genesis.

Victor breaks the fervent kiss and they are both panting.

“This isn’t fair.”

She’s pleading to Victor’s softer nature when it comes to women. She does not know that the bastard is the dirtiest of us all. He’ll leave her there and take every wicked pleasure he can and make her beg for more.

Victor brushes her hair and speaks softly to her, “Same question, sweetheart. Try not to lie this time or Darius will win and you’ll be naked on our table.”

“I spent my time at a private club. And that is the truth.”

We’re getting closer but the way she grits her teeth tells me she is going to fight us every step of the way to the deeper truth and if she has to obey the rules of the game, then so do we. We only have four questions left.

“My turn. What do you want from my father as payment for getting me out of Chicago?”

Vi and Augustine leave the answer for me. I could give her the truth or let her have this one and give her something to keep her playing.

I flick my hand as if to turn a page. “Next.”

The pleasure on her face is worth the forfeit. I swear right here and now I will do anything to see that kind of happiness in her eyes. “Oh, I see. Don’t enjoy having your secrets revealed, huh? That means I get a piece of clothing.”

I hold my hands up. “Name it.” Her brown eyes sweep over my bare chest. The heated caress is almost physical from the burn she leaves behind on my exposed skin. She follows the trail of hair dusting my lower abdomen and finds this little game of ours has me fully aroused.

I physically see her swallow. “Don’t be shy, sweetheart. Look and touch all you want.”

“Funny. I want Victor’s shirt.”

Vi pops the buttons and tosses his dress shirt to the side. He hates ink but loves the home gym we have in the basement. And Bailey seems to appreciate that fact.

Her gaze drops like she is ashamed to look. Victor steps in, tilts her chin back to him. “It’s okay to look, sweetheart. I won’t bite until you make me.”

Victor takes her hand in his and uses the little give there is in her bindings to his advantage.

Augustine lowers himself on the edge of the table and I move from the bottom to sit opposite of him. I reach out and play with the zipper to her skirt. “Augustine. It’s your turn to ask a question.”

“We’ll get back to the truth of where you spent the last twelve months at a later point. Right now we need you to remember the night you broke into the Mount’s place. You went through the contents of his safe. That is not a question. We saw that with our own eyes. What we want to know is what you did with the contracts you stole.”

“Easy. I gave them to my father.”

“Hm,” I growl. “Another lie.”

Augustine and Victor laugh lowly beside me.

She wraps her hands around the rope and pulls so hard the wood groans, but holds. “That isn’t fair. You know I’m telling the truth.”

“Do we?”

“Why would I lie? I don’t want you to take my clothes off!”
