I didn’t notice the sound of the gym door opening, but Jace must have, because he stopped. I followed his gaze as he looked up and found Teo standing there, his eyes dark.
“What the hell is going on here?” he said.
“Teo,” I breathed, feeling a mix of emotions - surprise, guilt, and a strange sense of relief that he was here, sharing this moment with us. “I’m sorry. We got carried away.”
“Didn’t mean to interrupt,” Teo said, a hint of jealousy in his tone. “But the door was open, and I heard your voices.”
“I’m sorry, Teo,” I said, grabbing my shorts. “We can...”
“Did I tell you to stop?” Teo asked.
I looked up at him, stunned. “What?”
“Did I tell you to stop?” he repeated. “Because if I did, I must have misspoke. What I meant was, ‘Keep going’.”
Jace’s gaze sought me. “You want this?”
The thought of Teo watching our every move was intoxicating, and my body responded in an instant. I nodded at Jace, my head spinning. The look in his eyes told me that he was ready. Teo’s deep voice echoed through the room once more.
