Afterwemadeitback to the house, I soaked in the tub for hours, refilling it with hot water each time. I marveled at the new bond I felt in my chest. I would never feel alone anymore. I had four alpha presences to comfort me at any time.
At the present moment, however, I needed some alone time. The date was wonderful, but I was drained and needed time to relax and think by myself.

I felt a twinge of a cramp in my lower belly, but brushed it off as I got out of the bath and toweled off. I dressed in some silky pajamas and made my way to my bed. Or should I say our bed?
All four alphas lay sprawled out on the massive bed, leaving a space for me in the center. I crawled over them and nestled cozily in the middle. I was surrounded on all sides and I had never felt more safe and wanted in my life. I closed my eyes and drifted off to sleep.

I awoke to the potent scent of caramel. It was emanating from Adrianna in powerful waves. I inhaled deeply through my nose and noticed hints of the sweet scent of slick.

She was in the middle of heat and needed knots. I furrowed my brow.
But why didn't she tell us?
She must be in agony now, based on the amounts I could smell in the air alone.
Sure enough, I glanced over at her sleeping face and saw her brow furrowed in pain. She whimpered in her sleep and curled into a ball, clutching her stomach.
My face softened with sympathy, and I reached over to wake her up. And to give her my knot so she could have some relief. There was no need for her to suffer like this anymore.

I gently brushed Adrianna's hair out of her face.
"Love, wake up. I'm here." I whispered softly.
She stirred and groaned in pain, blinking the sleep out of her eyes. She sat up slowly in confusion, holding her stomach. Then awareness hit her and she looked at me with panicked eyes.
"No, no, stay away from me!" she shouted wildly, arms outstretched. I looked at her in shock.

The others got up, woken up by her shout. Then the scent of her heat hit them and the room was suddenly filled with four horny alphas, ready to rut their omega.
She backed up slowly until she hit the headboard behind her. Her arms were still outstretched, and she looked at each of us with wild eyes.
"Love, what's wrong? We know you're in heat. Why won't you accept our knots this time?" I asked her.
She took a calming breath and spoke, "I can get through this heat without knots. Just stay away from me, and I can do this."
Kayden spoke up, confusion also written all over his face. "But why would you want to? You mated us and we can help you."
Tears filled her eyes and overflowed down her face. "I don't want to get pregnant. Last heat cycle I got lucky, but I can't risk it again."
Understanding filled me with her words. I had explained to her that omegas could only get pregnant during their heat cycles. I guess I forgot to mention the bit about contraceptives.
I threw my head back and laughed. Everyone looked at me in confusion.
"Oh, love! I forgot to tell you about the birth control for omegas. You can take a pill during your heat to avoid pregnancies if that is what you really wish. I have some for you in my office," I explained, careful not to omit any details this time.
