Maureen hadn’t noticed that while Ian was talking, he’d guided her back to where they’d left Adam until Ian stepped back and offered him Maureen’s arm.“Be good to her.”
“Always.”Adam looked first at Ian, and then to Maureen as he took her in his arms.
