“You say this like you have any choice.” He stroked and pulled my dick, earning an uncomfortable moan. “Do you want to be bred?”
My teeth clenched as his eyes flashed black. “How easily you undo me.”
He laughed almost wickedly. “I love the sounds you make for me.”
I grabbed his bare ass, digging my nails into the muscle. “You like me in pain.”
“I like feeling. All of it. Pain intensifies pleasure.”
I tightened my grip, only stopping right before I broke the skin. “Is that why the quickening works so well? You’re on the edge of blood lust and can’t control your animal?”
“It’s the thin veil and the magic from the earth igniting our need. The earth fuels life for the summer solstice.” His breathing hitched. “You get blood lust as often as you want. You have for years. Don’t pretend it’s something new.”
“Are you telling me you haven’t been holding back?” I asked, knowing he had been.
“You tell me. You’re the one who’s on a first-name basis with my wolf.” His words held an edge I hadn’t expected.
“Noticed, did you?”
He snarled.
“I like when you let him play.”
“You’re into the wolf now?” he asked, humor showing in his tone.
“I’m into havingallof you. I didn’t ask him to dick me down, though.”
“We aren’t the same person,” Dominic said and pressed his lips to mine, probably hoping to shut me up with his tongue in my mouth.
I bit his lip, nearly breaking skin. “You share a body and a mind. I want all the parts of you. All of us are tied.” He’d feel it if he let himself. There was no denying us. “Answer my question.”
“Which?”
“Have you been holding back?” I had to know.
“Not holding back, avoiding you when I’m at my weakest. I couldn’t dothisand not be with you.”
I dragged his body against mine, roughly grinding our hips together. “Never again. I want all of this.” I throbbed, so turned on by the way he barely kept control. I wanted to stay on this line forever.
“Do you miss me hate-fucking you? Or maybe you want me to own you right here in front of all of them.” His voice shook, and I loved it.
My brow ticked up. “Maybe I miss the way you would come and own me, no matter the time or place, when you needed me most.”
“I always need you.” He forced me backward, eyes flashing black again for the barest hint of a second. “That’s what I don’t think you realize. There isn’t a day I don’t want you like that.”
“And what’s stopping you?” I asked, letting him guide me, take me, wherever he pleased.
We’d lost the attention of the pack. Somewhere in our banter, they’d returned to their fucking and feasting. I wasn’t unhappy about it. I wasn’t shy, but I didn’t want to put on a show.
He led us away to a quiet little gap in a group of pines.
“Do you remember that night on your balcony?”
“How could I forget?” It felt like ages now, that night he’d watched me through the doors, watched me beat submissives, unable to fully take them.
“I wanted to strangle you then. Never in my life have I wanted you to feel my pain so badly. I wanted to take everything from you like you’d take from me.” He pressed his forehead to my lips, softening.
“Oh?” I didn’t want to say too much. I wanted him to continue without interference from me. Wanted Dominic’s unadulterated words. “Why are you telling me now?”
