Oh.

Oh, he craved this. The care, the touch, someone to care for.

Humming, Rome pushed back from the table a little more, then encouraged him to straddle the strong thighs rather than perch on Rome’s lap as he’d been doing. Once he did, Rome grabbed his ass and tugged him closer.

He wished he had a more comfortable space, but he just didn’t.

Rome didn’t seem to care, kissing him with enthusiasm, so he just went with it, kissing Rome right back.

Rome squeezed his ass; it felt like it fit perfectly in Rome’s hands. This was like the perfect Christmas gift. A moment out of time.

“I want you, boy.” Rome spoke the words against his lips.

“I only have a little futon upstairs…”

“Will you come home with me?” Rome asked. “Daddy has a king-size bed.”

“Oh…” He licked his lips. He would love that. A king-size bed. Maybe a bathtub to soak in, just for Christmas.

Rome licked his lips too. “We can have a Christmas breakfast feast in the morning and spend the day being lazy together.”

“You don’t have… plans?” He searched Rome’s eyes.

Rome stared right back at him. “You are my plans, boy.”

“Me? You just really met me.” They’d seen each other, sure. It hadn’t been long after the massage that he remembered seeing Rome among the Daddies when Chrissy had invited him to a few gatherings, but… they hadn’t hung out.

“Have you ever had a feeling when you first met someone?”

“Yeah, but I trust the smells more. You have to be into someone’s scent.”

“And are you?” Rome asked. “Into my scent, I mean.”

He nodded, whispering, “Yes, Daddy.”

“I’m glad to hear it. So let’s pack up the fishes and head over to my place. Is there anything you want to bring?”

“I need a change of clothes.” And a book as a present. That was only fair.

“And your toothbrush.” Rome rubbed their noses together. “Why don’t you put a bag together while I pack our leftovers up.”

“All right. If you’re sure.” What kind of book? Murder mystery? Fantasy? Sci Fi? Maybe his favorite series…

“I’m sure, boy. I want you in my bed.” Rome helped him to stand.

“Thank you. I—This is a little unexpected.”

“But not unwelcome,” Rome suggested, and he couldn’t refute that.

“No. No, not unwelcome. A little scary, a lot amazing. Not unwelcome.”

Rome wrapped him in a warm hug. “You don’t need to be scared, boy. Daddy’s got you.”

“Oh. Oh, god.” He held on tight, eyes squeezed closed.

“It’s okay, boy. I know you’ve been on your own for a while now, but not anymore. I’ve got you.” Rome continued to hold him, body solid against his, arms wrapped around him, enveloping him.

“Are you—is this like a Christmas miracle?”
