Like family.

“What are you two doing?” she asked, groaning when Ollie rubbed a particularly sore spot.

“Sorry, sweetling,” he whispered.

“We’re working out our overlap for the week,” Abby replied, getting to her feet. “You want a cuppa?”

“Sure, but what do mean by overlap?”

“When the forge was built it was mostly used for making horseshoes and tools. It was never designed for things as big as those driveway gates I’m making,” Ollie explained, “so Abbs and I have to schedule when we make certain items so we know we’ll have enough room to move.”

“You need your own forge,” his sister said from the other side of the kitchen.

“Now there’s an idea.” Ollie sipped his tea, then shook his head. “But where would I put it, eh?”

Mia stiffened as an idea struck her, an idea so pure and simple and right that it was out of her mouth before she could overthink it. “Someday.”

“What?”

“There’s plenty of room at Someday. You could build your own forge there.” When Ollie didn’t answer, she ducked her head and half-shrugged. “If you wanted to.”

A grinned curled his mouth and her heart skipped a beat at the sight, especially when he set his tea aside and wrapped both arms around her waist, nuzzled against her throat. “Emilia Caldwell, are you asking me to move in with you?”

She blinked as she wondered the same thing. “I suppose I am,” she said slowly before nodding. “Yes, I’m asking you to move in with me.”

“Who’s moving where?” Wolf asked, yawning as he shuffled into the kitchen. He moved straight to Abby and pressed a kiss to her forehead. “Guten morgen, liebchen.”

“I’m moving into Mia’s house,” Ollie announced, then he stood, taking her with him and tossed her over his shoulder.

“What are you doing?” Mia squealed.

“Celebrating,” he said, and slapped her arse.

“Hey!”

“She’ll take a raincheck on the tea, thanks Abbs. See ya’.”

“Oliver Ulysses Bennett, you put me down right now.”

“Nope. And I’d stop wriggling if I were you. That’s a long way down.”

“Put me down or I will bite you.”

Ollie laughed and slid his free hand between her thighs. “Try it and see what happens.”

So she did. She tried it. Just as Ollie kicked open the door to his bedroom, she yanked down the top of his boardshorts and bit him. Right where his waist met the top curve of his perfect arse.

His manly yelp made her laugh. His unceremonious dumping of her in the middle of his bed made her vow retribution. At least it would have, had he not immediately kicked the door closed again, dropped down on top of her and ripped open the shirt she was wearing. The act was so violent, so primal, and made her heart race.

Then he pinned her down and stole her breath away with his kiss. A slow, sensuous kiss that made her toes curl and her pussy clench with need.

And when he worked his way over her jaw and down her neck, along her collarbone and over her breast, she was unashamedly squirming, craving his next touch, his next kiss or lick or bite.

“Sweetling,” Ollie breathed, blowing cool air across her nipples, causing them to tighten into hard little peaks then sinking his teeth into them, tugging on them, making her cry out for more.

“Ollie, please.” Mia wrestled free of his grip and tightened her hands in the loose strands of his long hair, then thrust her chest towards him, forcing more of her breast into his mouth.

He grunted at the movement but took the hint and showered her breasts with so much attention that when he blew across her nipples again, she almost leapt off the bed, the ecstasy of it all almost more than she could bare.
