Curious, I nodded.
“It might seem strange.”
“Benny, everything with you has been strange since the day we met.”
“True.” His smile soothed any worry I had. “Get undressed.”

“Get undressed.”
I followed Benny’s command, stripping down to my black lace bra and panties.
“There’s something you should know about me,amore mio.”
“Oh?” I asked, almost breathless from the desire already coursing through my veins.
“The Phantom sees and hears everything.”
His voice dropped to a low growl while the timbre seemed to reach into my core and coax my arousal to the surface.
“There’s no place where you can hide. No mask that would conceal you from me. From this night on, you’re tattooed on my heart and in my soul. You can’t outrun your phantom.”
Why would I ever want to leave him?
