Callum flops onto the bed beside me. "Kate, that was bloody brilliant."

"Yes, it was. How did you like your gift? You didn't let me finish wrapping it for you."

"Sorry. Couldnae hold back, not with your mouth sucking myslat." He slings an arm around me, pulling me snugly against his side. "I need to tell ye what I said when ye had yer wee mouth on me. 'Neach-gaoil,tha thu bòidheach' means 'my beloved, you are beautiful.' And when I saidtha mo ghion ort, I meant I love you with all my heart."

"I love you too, Callum, love you like crazy." Can't believe we just said that, but I don't regret it. "What you said in Gaelic was the most beautiful thing I've ever heard."

Callum eyes me sideways. "You're not going to panic because I told you how I feel?"

"Nope. I'm done freaking out. Being with you has cured me of that."

"I'm the cure for getting over a bad marriage? Maybe I should be the therapist, not you."

I try to stifle my laugh, but it comes out as a splutter instead. "You want to have sex with men's wives and girlfriends to help them with their marriage issues?"

"Oh, ah, I didnae think that through before I said it."

"Relax, I'm teasing you. Maybe you are the better therapist since you helped me so much."

He kisses the top of my head. "No,mo chridhe, you are the best psychotherapist slash physical therapist in the entire world. Make that the entire universe."

"I love it when you engage in hyperbole. It's hot."

Someone knocks on the door.

"Bugger off," Callum hollers. "I'm giving Kate therapy."

"It's Jack, ye erse. Breakfast will be served in fifteen minutes in the dining room."

"So it won't be the whole clan this time, eh? Cannae fit all of us in the dining room."

"Just get dressed and come downstairs."

Footsteps suggest Jack has left the vicinity.

Callum pushes a hand between my thighs. "Donnae care what Jack says. I prefer to come upstairs."

"Let's have sex in the shower before we go down for breakfast."

He smirks. "Donnae think going down is appropriate in the dining room. But I'm up for it if you are."

I adore this man with every fiber of my being.

We wind up forgoing shower sex in favor of getting dressed since we only have fifteen minutes. But Callum vows we will "have a poke" again today. After breakfast, he plans to take me on another motorcycle ride since he promised to show me his house. And I've discovered I love straddling a Harley while plastered to Callum's backside. He has the finest backside on earth.

Hyperbole must be contagious.

By the time we enter the dining room, which is on the ground floor, everyone else has already sat down at the table. Two empty chairs await us. Jack sits at one end of the table while Autumn sits at the opposite end, facing her husband. Emery and Rory have taken the chairs along one side of the table with a woman I don't recognize beside them. A man I also don't recognize reclines in a chair on the other side, next to two empty seats. A third chair has been crammed in on the stranger's opposite side, but I recognize the man sitting there. It's Hugh.

A whole lot of food occupies the tabletop.

"Sit down," Jack says. "We're fair starved from waiting for you."

Callum drops onto the chair nearest to his brother, leaving me next to the stranger.

"The man sitting beside you," Jack says, "is Alex Thorne, also known as the British Bastard, the Limey Louse, and the Soulless Sassenach. His wife gave him those names before they were married, but that's a story for another day. Alex, meet Kate Wagner."

Alex Thorne offers me his hand. "Pleasure to meet you, Kate. I've heard all about the trouble these two plonkers gave you. It takes a strong woman to handle two stubborn men."
