When the couple was done with their amorous greeting, she walked over to Tom and kissed his cheek.

"Thank you for inviting me and for everything else."

Dagor

"What kind of a name is the Silver Swan?" Dagor grumbled as he, his teammates, and Gabi walked up to the cruise ship, dragging their luggage behind them.

The ship was small compared to the others docked next to it, looking almost like a yacht next to the giant floating hotels that could accommodate thousands of guests.

"What's wrong with Silver Swan?" Gabi gave him a reproaching look. "I think it's a very nice name."

He shrugged. "I'm not a fan of ships."

"You're not a fan of anything," Negal said. "I don't think I've ever heard you get excited about anything other than a piece of tech to disassemble and reassemble."

"I find it interesting to take things apart and see how they work because I didn't get to do that on Anumati. Besides, you are one to preach. What do you get excited about besides a nice pair of legs?"

Negal shrugged. "To each his own. I have my hobbies, and you have yours."

The dock appeared nearly deserted, with Kian's redheaded guard waiting for them at the bottom of the gangway, while other Guardians were trying to blend in and look inconspicuous.

"Welcome to the Silver Swan." Anandur offered Gabi his hand. "It's her maiden voyage under the new name."

"Hi." Gabi put her small hand inside the guy's huge paw. "What was her name before?"

"It's a secret." Anandur winked. "Let's get you people inside. We are operating on a tight schedule."

Dagor looked behind him to see if there were any other passengers, but the four of them were the only ones. "Is Gabi's family already on board?"

"Yes, they are, and you can go see them later, but first, I need you to get settled in your suite."

Great, so they were sharing a suite again.

Hopefully, there was a lounge chair on the top deck and a bar, so he and Negal would have a place to escape and leave Aru and Gabi to their honeymooning.

When they entered the spacious elevator, Anandur pressed the button for deck number six.

"We figured that you would want to be together, so we put you in one suite, but if that's not convenient, we might be able to find accommodations for the bachelors on the lower decks."

"How good is the soundproofing on this ship?" Negal asked.

"Excellent. It belongs to the clan, and it's built for immortals."

As the door opened, Anandur walked out, and the four of them followed.

"Is everyone on board immortal?" Gabi asked.

"Not everyone." Anandur stopped next to a suite marked with the number 608. "The crew is human, including the captain and his officers, the servers, the cooks, and the maids. A few guests are human too, but there's only one who does not know about us." He typed in a code and opened the door. "We are going to thrall everyone who is not supposed to know about gods and immortals at the end of the cruise to forget any peculiarities they might notice, so you should feel free to be yourselves, but if you can limit using the terms gods and immortals to when you are in the company of people you know, that would be helpful. The fewer memories we need to suppress, the better."

Dagor looked around the suite and had to admit that he was impressed. It wasn't big, but it was very nicely decorated and had all the amenities, including a small kitchen and a bar stocked full of various liquor bottles.

"Do you want me to give you the tour?" Anandur asked.

"I think we can figure it out." Aru rubbed the back of his neck. "So, what's next? Is Kian going to come over and say hello? Are we meeting with everyone for dinner? We weren't given an itinerary."

"The welcome dinner is at seven-thirty in the evening, and it includes everyone. You can look up the itinerary on the cruise channel." He pointed at the large screen. "Right now, we are getting everyone on board and settled. If you are hungry, there is food in the refrigerator, or you can call room service." He pointed to the phone on the coffee table. "If you want to call Kian, you can use the clan phone you were given, but he's a little busy right now, so perhaps a text message would be better."

"Of course." Aru nodded.
