“I brought you breakfast,” he says casually.

“I’m not hungry,” I tell him trying not to look at the way his muscles move with each step he takes or the way his sweats hug his perfect frame.

“Eyes up here,” he says causing my gaze to falter. I jerk my head up and lock eyes with his, a sick sinister smirk crossing his face.

“I know I just don’t want to look at you,” I remind him.

“That’s not very nice, Eva. I have a tutor coming in so that you don’t miss any of your schooling,” he tells me.

“How long am I going to be here?” He plans on having a tutor come in? What the hell is happening? I’m being held captive!

“I don’t have an answer for you just yet. Right now I need to figure things out and I can’t do that when you and your little friend are keeping secrets. I know who you are and I plan on finding out what a Bosco is doing with a Nash.” His calm demeanor throws me off. He shouldn’t be so calm with two girls being held hostage in this place. Yet he stands there a pillar of calmness.

“I don’t know what you’re talking about.” My words come out as a whisper. I don’t want him knowing who I am but it’s clear that he does. The thought alone scares me. If he knows I’m a Bosco then he could be using me against my father. It has to be what he’s doing. Dom hums before he turns and walks to the door. Two knocks and someone else opens it and walks in. His eyes move over me before passing Dom a stack of papers.

“Has the other spoken?” The guy I know as Vincent nods his head but his eyes linger on mine.

“She has a few things to say to you,” he says. Dom nods and motions for the door so that the man leaves. Then Dom turns back to me and walks over. My focus is on the floor until tattooed feet come into view. Then I slowly drag my gaze to meet his.

“Evangeline Ramona Bosco. Went to Hill Creek Prep which was a private school that her father paid good money for her to attend. She likes parties and dancing but very rarely gets to leave the house. No siblings. Her mother’s name is Ramona, whom she’s partially named after. Her grandmother was Evangeline. Should I go on?” He asks tossing the paper at me. Tears fall down my cheeks before I swipe them away.

“So what? I’m a Bosco. What’s that have to do with you? Are you using me to get back at him?” Anger slowly courses through my veins as I stare up at him but all I see is confusion written across his face.

“Using you? Not in the slightest, Eva. I’m wondering if you were planted here for a reason.”

“Planted here? No one was planted here you idiot. I go to school here!” I snap. Slowly I stand to my feet keeping the sheet tucked tightly around my body as I move. Dom watches me, his eyes full of darkness and something more. I flip my hair over my shoulder as I come face to face with the man that stole me.

“You went to school in New York too. What difference does that make? You’re in my territory now and I want to know why.” This man is hardheaded and clearly doesn’t listen well. I shake my head and giggle a little at his dumbness.

“I just told you. I didn’t want to stay there. I wanted to be on my own.”

“If that was true did you ever stop to think why your father would send you here alone?” he asks clearly amused by all of this.

“I don’t know, Dom why don’t you ask him?” I challenge back. The grin that spreads across his face should be illegal. He’s too damn gorgeous to be a monster.

“The funny thing is, I’ve checked, Eva and do you know what I found out?” he muses taking a step back from me. His body moves, each step pulling new muscles into my view.

“That you’re not as smart as you thought you were?” I ask raising an eyebrow.

“Don’t you wish. You’re a pawn, Evangeline and not even in my game.” With that he turns to leave when I rush toward him. My hands land on his shoulders, trying to turn him to face me but he snaps. He loses control and spins quickly, grabbing my waist and pushing me against the wall. His lips, his harsh breathing is so close to me.

“You put your hands on my naked flesh one more time and I’ll make you regret it. I will bend you over, bind your wrists and fuck you until your legs get weak,” he says huskily. His breathing is sporadic, his chest rising and falling rapidly matching mine.

“Then why don’t you?” I question. He cocks his head to the side and studies my face wondering what I mean and God help me so am I. What am I doing? Yes, he’s hot as hell, but he also has me held captive telling me lies. My father would never use me in his wars. Never.

“Is that what you want, Eva?” You want me to bend you and break you?”

“I…” I’m cut off when there’s a frantic knock at the door. Dom steps back and turns to walk to the door and as soon as he pulls it open, I see Vincent again.

“There’s a problem. You’re needed. Your father has requested you,” he says. I watch the looks between them when Dom turns his head to look over his shoulder at me. Just one look has my stomach trembling.

“Watch her. Make sure she eats,” he says and whisks out of the room.

Iquickly dressed and came to my father’s ready to see what he had to say to me. The whole ride over I couldn’t get her words out of my head. She wanted me. And I want her and soon after I find things out that I need to know I will have her. I don’t care who she is anymore. I don’t care that she may very well be the enemy, I want her.
