Leaving her in the room, I entered the security area and cleared every record of the night. I left the penthouse, and after coming out of the compound, I opened the bag I had kept by the gate.

Bringing out four bombs, I lit the fuse one after the other, and threw them into the compound. They exploded and I dropped a note close to the house.

I AM ALEX.

I stepped into the bar and sat by the counter. I was now wearing a long sleeved black gown that was split up to my left thigh, a leg chain, and a pair of black stilettos. My hair flew freely.

James, the bartender smiled at me and I winked back.

He had been making clear advances to me since he started working at the bar. He must have thought I was a regular twenty-two-year-old lady.

Well I was, in my own world.

He mixed my shot for me and I gulped it down at once.

“How you always manage to drink this shot bottoms up still surprises me,” he commented and I replied with a small turn of my lips.

“How are you tonight?” He tried to start another conversation and I groaned inwardly. I was just trying to enjoy my life out here to celebrate another job well done. I would really appreciate it if the guy stopped throwing himself at me.

“How do I look? Happy or sad?”

“Hot,” he blurted out.

“Oh c’mon Jamsey.” I cringed inwardly. He respectfully annoyed me.

He mixed about four shots for the people beside me and I stared at them. They were either a couple or they met here and decided to hook up.

After drinking their shots, they grabbed each other’s face and kissed –more like devoured each other’s faces. The girl moaned into the guy’s mouth and I shifted on my seat.

It had been a while since I had a male sub –a good fuck to be precise, but I was too busy to do that now.

Music started playing in the bar and I softly moved my body to the rhythm, as James proceeded to mix another shot for me. I saw people already on the dance floor, couples grinding against each other and some still drinking at the tables dotted around the edges.

Everyone looked so happy and carefree, you would think earth was a nice place to live in.

I was still taking everyone in when my eyes met his.

His eyes.

Those bright brown eyes staring at me. It was like he was boring straight into my soul. I felt his eyes taking in every part of my body, which tingled in reaction to his gaze.

He was dressed in a black shirt with a blue tie on, and a pair of blue denim jeans. His black hair was packed to the back of his head, while the rest fell forward, fanning the sides of his face.

I almost looked away because of the heat that came out from this man’s gaze, but emphasis on the almost. He was sitting with his legs spread and was oozing so much confidence. I hadn’t even stepped closer to him, but I could feel that his aura was dominating.

He broke eye contact first, smiling at whatever the guy beside him said, and he checked back at me to find me still staring.

It was not my fault. It was like I was trapped, I just couldn’t look away. His eyes looked so familiar. Like something I had seen before, something I had loved before and while that was impossible, it was true.

He was still staring at me when suddenly his eyebrows creased. Was he feeling what I was feeling? This spell, was it bounding him too?

He leaned forward on his chair and winked at me, and as if on cue, I clenched my thighs together. This guy was doing something to me and I needed to leave. He didn’t look like he was going to agree on being a sub and I loved being in control, so he was a beautiful red flag.

I broke eye contact somehow, and stood up in preparation to leave –run. I turned back to face James. “I’m leaving,” I declared.

“Aw already? You just got here. Also, you never leave by this time.” He checked the wall clock behind him and when he turned back, his eyes darted behind me. Before I could look to see whatever he was staring at, I heard a voice.
