If it were Jordan, she would be crying and pulling her ‘daddy’ in a hug, but not me. He killed Jordan and replaced her with Alexis, so I planned to give him a glimpse of who Alexis was.

I covered his face with a clothsack, ignoring his stupid pleas, after which I poured ice cold water on his body. He screamed and I shivered on his behalf before laughing. I emptied another bucket, and another, and another before removing the clothsack from his head.

My mom wished him pain and death, this was not pain.

He gasped, coughed and spat, breathing for air when I removed the cloth and I sat on the chair to watch his drama. My karate teacher lifted him to another chair in front of mine and he raised his head to look at me through his hooded eyes.

He coughed. “Ba-by-girl, it’s me-da-daddy.” So now it’s baby girl? I scoffed.

“It’s Alexis, daddy. Remember?”

“Wha-what happened t-to you?” He was asking what changed me. I laughed. Was that really a question to be asked?

“You changed me. Remember when you stole from your friend? Yeah that was when you changed me. You even changed my name to complete the process.”

“I’m sorry.” He shivered and winced as he moved. The rope was probably cutting through his hands.

“No, you’re not.” I stood up immediately and he flinched. This was my first time being in control, and I was loving it. “You’ve been a bad bad boy daddy, and mommy wished for pain and death for you.”

The situation dawned on him and he screamed. He screamed in pure terror, mouth opened and eyes widened. I punched him in the mouth and his lips busted. I picked blood from the side of his lips and licked it. My karate teacher grimaced in disgust.

“What? It’s my blood too,” I shrugged and he nodded unbothered, waving a dismissive hand at me. I rolled my eyes.

“Th-this is-this is not you, baby,” my dad coughed out and I laughed.

“Yeah, because you killed me the moment you decided to not only betray your best friend, but also betray me and your wife.”

“It-it wasn’t my fault, it was…”

Shifting blames? I guess not. I hauled my knife down his arm, tearing his skin and he screamed out. I thought this man was dominating, apparently he wasn’t. Blood trickled down his arm as I pressed my blade in further, twisting it every now and then.

“God please no, it was Cedric. Let me explain, baby, please.”

“Let you explain why you abandoned mommy and I? Umm no.” I cut his right thumb off and watched as the stupid digit fell on the ground. He screamed as I proceeded to cut his right index finger.

“Can I punch your dad? He shouts too much.”

“No, you cannot punch my dad, and cover your ears.” He huffed and rolled his eyes at me. He already promised me control, so there was no way he was going to tell me what to do.

After cutting all of my dad’s fingers on the right hand, I pulled his hair toward me. “One sentence, what did I ever do to you?”

“Baby please.”

“Wrong answer, let’s try again.” I pulled harder and he winced. “What did my mom and I ever do to you?”

“It’s not entirely my fault…”

“Another,” Punch. “Wrong,” Punch. “Answer,” Punch.

“I was raped by six people while you enjoyed with your new family with the thirty five million you stole from your BEST FRIEND.” I screamed at his bloody face.

“Now daddy.” I walked around him like a teacher inspecting her student’s work. “There are so many ways to kill you,” I started as he cried and shook his head. “But mommy wished you pain first, and this…” I jerked my head to his fingerless right hand and twerked my mouth “…isn’t pain.”

I gave a single nod to my karate teacher who nodded back and covered his face with the clothsack from earlier and resumed pouring the ice cold water on him. My dad's body shook as he poured bowls and bowls of ice cold water on him.

I raised my hand to stop him and he stopped. I was happy that he was listening to me and letting me handle it the way I wanted. It would always be like this.

Starting today, Alex calls the shot.
