“Just a little nap should be alright, and then we’ll have her back in our arms in no time,” I murmur as I flatten my hands against his chest.

His fingers push through my hair as he tips my head back to kiss me. It’s like a moment of bliss passes by and I forget about all the stress that comes with having a baby. After two months, I’m happy to accept any sort of touching he gives.

“Just a nap?” he muses, smiling when my fingers start dragging lower. Is it that obvious?

“Something like that.” Giving him a shrug, I bite back my smile when I feel his arousal pressing against me. “Probably shouldn’t do anything in the shower.”

That’s all I need to say to fill the man’s eyes with determination. He’s quick with rinsing himself off, busying his hands with finishing his wash. Once he moves, he eases me under the stream. The warmth is beyond welcoming.

Nothing compares to the heat resting behind his eyes as he fights to get out of the shower.

Unable to keep a laugh from leaving my lips, I watch him force his way out.

I’m not the type to get his hopes up. My body doesn’t help much either, not by the way it’s already heating up from simply being near the man.

Looking forward to having the next few hours to ourselves, I match his behavior and quickly wash up.

Maybe Idris is right about having a nanny. A little more time to ourselves sounds nice. However, if we aren’t careful, our daughter is going to have another sibling sooner than later.
