“How can I deny my lovely wife anything,” I say instead, clasping her chin and I pull her pretty face up to mine, staring into her azure eyes. “You’re my weakness.”
She licks her lips, adding, “I have many but you’re my greatest one,” she says and her lips break into a smile.
“You’re my only one,” I rasp and her eyes flicker with emotions, right before she looks pensive.
“Wait, that’s not true...”
“Careful now...” I caution but she loves giving me a hard time, adding,
“You forgot how much you suck at swimming...”
I let out a playful roar, lunging at her and chase her around the estate, until she almost accidentally kills both of us. My best option is to throw her into the pool and jump in after her, then show her a thing or two about why she doesn’t need a merman when she’s got me.
