She cried out as she pulsed around him, her orgasm rushing through her. She floated, her heavy breathing almost drowned out by her heavy breathing.

Gathered up in his arms, she was rolled to her side. She buried her face in his chest as she tried to calm her breathing. To find her way back into her body.

“Good, baby?”

“Better than that,” she murmured. “So much better.”

“Yeah. Let’s see if we can beat that.”

And then they did. With her on all fours and him behind her. In the shower while getting cleaned up.

Then, later on that night.

It just kept getting better and better.

Raid drew his ringing phone out of his pocket and glanced at it.

Eli.

Shit. He needed to take this. He glanced at Tanner, then nodded to where Hannah and her girls were having a girl’s night.

Tanner nodded back. His brother would watch her.

Over two weeks had passed since Hannah spoke to Rosa. And since she’d jumped his bones. That’s what he liked to tease her had happened, even though he’d jumped hers right back.

Since then, things had been amazing. She’d had a couple of flashbacks that they’d worked through. Things that she hadn’t realized would trigger her had reared up, but they dealt with them as they came. And he’d been to a few more classes with Saxon.

The one problem with their bliss was that she still wasn’t completely safe. Not with Steven’s accomplice still out there.

And his girl was getting impatient. She didn’t like staying on the ranch all the time. Which was part of the reason they were here tonight. She needed a change of scene and to see her girls.

He stepped into a quieter part of Dirty Delights and answered the call.

“Jones, what do you have for me?” he asked.

“We got him.”

He sucked in a breath. “What? How?”

“We found the accomplice. Steven gave him up as a show of goodwill.”

That was good news.

Why didn’t that feel like good news?

“He just gave him up? After all this time? Why?” Raid asked.

“Rosa couldn’t give us much. She never saw the guy’s face. But more women have come forward since the press release. Oh, and it might have something to do with him moving gingerly for the last couple of days. But you wouldn’t know anything about that, right?” Eli asked dryly.

He didn’t. Mainly because Alec kept him in the dark. Raid didn’t like it, but he understood. Eli and Kellan weren’t likely to question Alec. And this meant that Raid wasn’t lying when he said he didn’t know anything.

Not that he really had a problem with lying.

But it made things cleaner.

“Nope. I don’t.”

“That’s what I thought you’d say. Anyway, you can tell Hannah that she’s safe now.”

“That will make her happy.” It also meant that they could start moving on with their lives. He didn’t like her living in a bunkhouse. She deserved far better than that.

And he was making moves to give her that. He needed some more time, though.

Hopefully, it was what she wanted.

“Thanks for letting me know.”

“Later,” Eli said.

He turned and started walking back to the main room, needing to get back to his girl.

“Raid.”

He turned toward where someone was calling his name. He saw Saxon walking toward him.

“I didn’t think this was your usual place,” he commented.

“I had a meeting with Devon. Is Hannah with you?” Saxon asked.

“Yep, she’s out in the bar.”

“Is she being watched?”

“Of course she is.” As if he’d leave her alone. Even without this threat, he wouldn’t do that.

“Good. When are you bringing her to the club?”

“I don’t think she’s ready for that yet.”

“Neither of you has to play. But you can come in. See everyone. They’re still worried about her.”

He nodded. “I’ll talk to her.”

“I’m going to go say hello.”

Raid stepped back into the main room and watched Saxon approach his girl. He didn’t touch her, but it was evident he was concerned. And when she smiled that wide smile at him, Saxon’s shoulders visibly relaxed.

Everyone might be worried about his girl, but they didn’t have to.

Because nothing was allowed to happen to her.

Hannah was trembling as she stepped into Saxon’s club.

“You’re shaking. We’re leaving,” Raid said abruptly.

Shaking her head, she looked up at him with a smile. “I’m fine. This place . . . it’s a good thing coming back here. It was always a safe place for me. I want that back. Although now my safe place is with you.”

He drew her close and kissed her.

She was dressed more conservatively than she usually did at the club. She wore a black dress with a sweetheart neckline that was tight over her breasts, then it flowed out. It ended just above her knees, and all she wore underneath was a pair of lacy black panties.

Her hair was back in a sleek ponytail and she had some killer eye make-up on. She still wore her coat. She wouldn’t take that off until she felt more comfortable.
