“Good. We miss you around here.”

“I doubt that. You mean you’re bored with Mona’s and Tami’s pussies.”

“Something like that.”

I’d gotten to know Vegas pretty well over the years. He’d been into Mona and might’ve claimed her, if she hadn’t been diagnosed with breast cancer. During her treatment, she’d lost a lot of weight and had had reconstructive surgery. Fake tits hadn’t been something Vegas liked, so he’d turned his attention to me. He was such a dick to reject Mona during a difficult time in her life.

Then a short time later, Tami joined the sweet butt ranks. Vegas hadn’t cared much for her like the other guys, but she gave good head, so when I wasn’t around, he fucked only her mouth.

The Hell’s Bells MC was a small club of only eight members. After the Knight’s Legion MC had attacked and killed Keg and a few others, Vegas hadn’t taken on new members. So three sweet butts had been enough to keep the men happy.

“You’re not afraid Rocky will put a bullet between your eyes if he catches us together?” I was terrified Rocky would do just that, especially to Tomcat, whom I cared deeply for.

“He could try, but he’d be dead next.”

“Oh great. If you all die on me, then what will I do?”Anything I damn well please!

“Funny you should ask.” He paused for a long beat, then said, “I need to talk to you in private. Can I come over?”

“Sure.” Oh shit, my alarm bells were blaring like fire truck sirens. I couldn’t tell himno. I lived inhishouse.

Plus, I didn’t want Vegas to become suspicious of me. I would leave Scornrock soon, whether the club released me or not. I just needed a little time to get my ducks in a row and find the courage to flee with Lydia and Landon. There would likely be backlash from my escape, and I didn’t want it to land on my friends’ doorstep.

“Cool. I’ll be over in an hour. Got a couple of things to do first.”

“Okay. See you then.” I quickly clicked back to Lydia. “Vegas is coming over in an hour to discuss something. I have a bad, bad feeling!” I paced in my small kitchen. Rockson was watching a Marvel movie and munching on popcorn, so I couldn’t freak out.

“Oh my gosh. Any idea what he wants?” Lydia sounded like she was freaking out for me. “Did he sound angry? Are you scared?”

“No, he sounded normal. Am I scared? A little. But I don’t think he’d hurt me. He cares about me and Rockson.” Or so I believed.

“We can’t get to you in an hour. But if you want, we’ll get in Landon’s truck and drive to Scornrock right this second.”

“No, no. Don’t do that. What good would it do if Vegas did try to hurt me?” I dialed in to whispering in the background. Lydia was probably bringing Landon up to speed.

“Listen, honey. You know Landon is a computer genius.”

“Yes.” My stomach twisted.

“He wants you to use your phone and do a live recording. Set it up by your flat screen. Put it between the baby pictures of Rockson. The whole screen doesn’t have to be visible. Only the camera needs to be aimed at where you’ll be on the sofa. Can you do that?”

“I… I can’t.” And why did she want me to do a live video? My blood pressure was going through the roof.

“Why not? It’s the only way we can have eyes on you.”

“Have eyes on me? That sounds creepy!”

“It’s just so we know you’re okay.”

“I don’t know. Vegas gave me the phone. I’m sure he monitors my calls. Hell, he probably listens in. He’ll know I betrayed him if I do as you suggest.”

“He won’t know,” Lydia said confidently.

“How can you be sure?”

“Because Landon is a genius, remember? He can do his thing and make your phone go undetected.”

“Really?” I had no idea Landon could do such things.
