“Stop. Someone might see us,” she whispered but didn’t push me away.

“What’re they going to do?” I nibbled her bottom lip. “You’re mine, and soon I’ll be prez.”

“Well, you’re not yet. I could get in trouble if Vegas finds out about us.”

“Baby, he won’t hurt you, because he knows I’ll rip him to shreds.”

“You’re way too cocky and overconfident. Just keep it dialed in when you get back. Nevada will be here.”

“Sure, I’ll be a good boy.”Nevada. I almost gagged whenever someone said that name. I gripped her ass and rubbed my swelling cock against her pelvis. “Soon, we won’t have to hide us. I can fuck you anywhere I want.”

“Like here in the alley?” She palmed my cock and bit her bottom lip to show how much she wanted me.

“Exactly.” I smashed my lips to hers and kissed her like it was our last. It wasn’t, of course. Ella just had that effect on me.

“I’m so happy you’re back,” she muttered into my mouth. “Especially happy about owning your cock.”

“I know you are. You’re constantly trying to lick your name off my dick. I mean, it feels incredible. But, baby, give the other side some attention too.”

She threw her head back and giggled. “I’ll do my best to remember that.”

“You can let me fuck your throat tonight to make it up to the right side of my shaft.”

“Yeah, okay, big guy. That’s exactly what I’ll do.” She rubbed her hand against my hard-on, revving me up. But I didn’t have time to play, and… someone might catch us fucking. Can’t have that, as Ella would say.

“I can’t wait.” I kissed her some more, then hit the road with my crew.

A few hours later, the guys and I drove through Bastion, where the Knight’s Legion MC ruled. I’d rented a car, thinking it would be risky nosing around the small town on our hogs or in my pickup with Texas license plates. We didn’t want to draw attention while we familiarized ourselves.

The area was a lot greener than Scornrock or Texas. Lots of farmland and wooded spots. I couldn’t help but roll my eyes at the small-town-USA vibe I was getting. Bastion was probably on a best-places-to-raise-a-family list. It made me hate my half brother even more, for having a better life than me. I’d bet my left nut he walked around like he was the shit.

The downtown was clean and well-maintained. A park in the middle of town had colorful flowers, green grass, and a gazebo. Ella would love it here, and so would the boy.

“So this is the notorious Knight’s Legion MC’s territory,” Keeno said. “Fuck, they live like kings.”

I grunted as envy turned my blood green.

“Look over there.” Xabier pointed. “KL Guns. Must be the club’s business.”

“There’s another one.” Keeno tapped on his window on the right. “KL Auto Body Shop.”

I bit down on my back molars, then spied some bikes parked in front of a tattoo shop. “That’s probably one of theirs too,” I muttered.

“They probably own the whole fucking town. I don’t feel right about blowing up a place like this,” Xabier said. “It’s too nice. Too many innocents.”

“I agree,” Keeno replied. “Look ahead. Casitas Mexican Restaurant. Let’s stop. I’m starving.”

“No,” I barked. “We’re just passing through. Someone might notice us and report us to the Knights.”

“Right. Where to next, boss?” Xabier asked.

“Their compound.” I’d been studying maps online and had found an area on the outskirts of town that had to be the Knights’ nest. It looked huge, with wooded areas, a pond, and a row of homes and buildings. It was much too large for only the three of us to take down, so I needed to be president of Hell’s Bells MC. Then I could declare war and have a full crew to ride into battle with me.

As I drove closer to the compound, uneasiness settled in my stomach. I should turn around and get the hell out of there. We weren’t prepared to come face-to-face with the club. We could wind up dead, and I’d never see Ella again.

“This doesn’t feel right.” I slowed the cage and made a U-turn on the dirt road.

“But the property is only a mile away,” Keeno said.
