Chapter74

Violetta

Ale is finally getting married.

After all her planning and Luca being a groomzilla, we’re finally here in the house Luca Donatello grew up in.

It’s large, like a compound large.

I’m not surprised that he’s just as rich as Ale. It’s funny how he used to call her a spoiled brat when he was just as spoiled as her.

Ugh, this couple and their fighting.

They’re still as feisty as ever, but now their fights turn into sex, then the sex turns into communication. It’s the perfect blend for both of them.

Sometimes people who are the same are perfect for each other. Ale and Luca are a testament to that.

Currently, I’m stressed. Ale needs her veil, and I don’t know where it is!

My best friend is getting married and I’m the worst maid of honor ever.

“Baby, you need to calm down.” Xavier is holding my face and looking me in the eye.But none of that helps because my heart is beating a hundred miles an hour and tears threaten to ruin my makeup.

“Where the fuck is it, Xavier!?” I’m stressed—no, I’m desperate.

“Okay, so we’re cursing now. That’s not a good sign,” he mutters under his breath, not helping in the slightest.

“What did you just say, Xavier Valente!” I’ve never been more nervous than I am at this moment, and I compete in grand slams for a living.

“We’ll find it. Just calm down, Blondie.”

“What did I say about you telling me to calm down?” I snap.

“Where did you last see it?” he questions, trying to make our deductive skills work.

“I’ve looked in the car, the million fucking rooms in this house, the kitchen, the three living rooms, the garden, and even Luca’s suite—”

I’m cut off by Xavier’s lips on mine. We’re currently in a room two doors away from Ale. I didn’t want to freak out in front of her.

I instantly melt in his touch. His hands pull up the fabric of my dress. We’re by the wall right next to the balcony. No one can see us, but they can hear us.

I stop his hand. “Now”—kiss—“is not”—kiss—“the”—kiss—“time.” My words don’t come out as if I want him to stop.

“It’s the perfect time. You need the perfect distraction to relax and you in the dress makes me want to rip it off you.” His eyes are hungry, yet filled with hope.

I think on it for a second, running through the wedding schedule to see how much time we have.

The numbers jumble in my head visually.

You know what, I don’t care.

My hands take the sides of his head and I crash his lips on mine yet again. Before he goes deep into the kiss, he smiles, happy with my decision.

“Make it quick.” I pant.

“Baby, we have all the time in the world to continue this later.” He smirks.
