Xavier isn’t even fazed as he crosses his arms and smiles in triumph.

“You guys are cute,” León says abruptly.

His words surprise me, yet I’m flattered.

We are adorable.

“Thank you,” I tell him before walking to him with my legs as shut as I can possibly get them.

I’m waddling like a penguin, and this is so embarrassing.

This is not my best moment.

I take the veil out of his hands.

“Anytime,” he replies before walking out and shutting the door behind him.

“What was that?” I ask Xavier in disbelief.

“I mean, I was just showing the stupid fuck what he missed.” He shrugs.

“Ha. Ha. Very funny.” I’m being sarcastic and my eye roll expresses that.

“I know you loved it secretly.” He sings his words.

I blush. He’s right. I love it when he’s a caveman at times.

I throw the veil in the dry-cleaned plastic on the bed and adjust Xavier’s appearance, wiping off my lipstick with my thumb and arranging his hair neatly.

Finally, I dust off his suit jacket. “There you go, sex-free!” I exclaim.

“I don’t like that statement,” he responds.

I laugh. “Do you want everyone to know we were having sex up here?”

“I wouldn’t mind it.” He shrugs and smiles.

“You really like people knowing I’m your girlfriend, huh?” I smirk.

“Yup!” he says happily.

I kiss him on the lips one final time.

“Let’s go get the bride ready!” I tell him excitedly.

After telling Ale she looks perfect, we line up to walk down the aisle.

I turn back to see León’s arm intertwined with Ale’s.

He’s the one who’s going to walk her down the aisle.

I look over at Xavier and we begin to make our way down the aisle.

Once I look into his eyes, I know that he ignites a blazing inferno within me, akin to the scorching sun. But I yearn to bring him tranquility, coursing through his veins like waves rolling in the sea.
