At the sound of her name, she stared at Felix in surprise, guilt obvious on her face. "Um, I gotta go now. Thanks, bye!"

"The bus to where?"

Luna ignored her brother. Her eyes flicked between Felix and Dante, curiosity sparking within her. "Who's this?"

"Never mind who he is," Felix snapped, his voice more harsh than he intended. He'd heard enough of Luna's conversation to know what she'd been talking about. It was an ongoing argument between the two of them. "The bus towhere, exactly?"

""Nowhere." She screwed up her mouth, unhappy, then gave up hiding it. "A job."

"We've talked about this, Luna! You don't need a part-time job. I'm handling everything. You just focus on your studies."

"But I want to help you!"

"You can help me by getting into a good college! Look, I know you want to help," Felix said, trying to keep his voice steady. "But your education is more important. Trust me on this."

Luna frowned, clearly annoyed by Felix's refusal, but her gaze kept flicking back to Dante. Felix could see the wheels turning in her head, her curiosity piqued.

"Trust you?" she scoffed, her eyes flickering from Felix to Dante before settling on her brother again. "You never tell me anything, Felix. I'm not a little girl anymore. Like, who even is this guy?"

"Never mind him," Felix snapped, trying to hide his discomfort. The memory of their encounter earlier made his cheeks flush. "Just… just keep focusing on school, Luna."

"Is he your boyfriend or something?"

"Wha—no!" Felix sputtered, feeling his face grow even hotter. Dante's smirk widened, and Felix wanted to wipe it off his dumb smug face. "Luna, just go to your room."

With a huff, Luna retreated back inside, leaving Felix alone with Dante in the tiny yard behind their house.

"Wow, she's a handful."

"You have no idea." Felix groaned. He took a deep breath, and then turned to Dante. "Look, um… thanks for checking the house. But you should leave now."

Dante looked at Felix, the expression causing something to twist low in his gut. "If that's what you want."

Dante's eyes locked onto Felix's, the intensity of his stare sending shivers down Felix's spine.

Dante stepped forward. Felix stepped back, until his back was against the wall. Dante's hands pressed against the bricks on either side of Felix's head, boxing him in. "Now… promise me you won't say a word about what happened tonight," he demanded, his voice commanding but too low to travel. "Don't make me have to come clean up loose ends."

Felix opened his mouth to retort, but the words died in his throat as Dante's presence filled the small space between them. He found himself pressed against the wall, just barely apart from the powerful figure before him. "I won't say anything."

Dante cocked an eyebrow.

Heat rushed to Felix's cheeks at the words, his heart pounding in his chest. The heat of Dante's body near his own stirred something inside him, rekindling a hunger he hadn't realized was still there. Despite the nagging voice in the back of his mind reminding him of the danger Dante posed, Felix couldn't help but crave more.

The Hype still had him loose and warm at the edges, his thoughts and concentration frayed. Unbidden, memories from earlier in the night flooded Felix's thoughts — Dante's hardness pressing against him as he lay sprawled across his lap, the sensation of being utterly dominated by this man.

The sound of their breaths mingling in the small space filled Felix's ears, a seductive dance of desire and restraint. Felix took the risk and darted his eyes down.

Dante was hard.

Felix swallowed.

He knew it was playing with fire, but he couldn't stop himself. "Well, you can't blamethaton any party drugs."

Dante exhaled sharply, a warning in his eyes. "No, I can't." Keeping his gaze locked with Felix's, he shifted closer, his body just barely pressing against Felix's.

Felix gasped as he felt Dante's cock against him, hard and ready.

For him.
