Aero claimed her mouth, kissing her with abandon as he increased his pace, a clash of tongues, teeth, and lips as they chased their release together.

“Oh, Sammy,” Aero groaned, feeling the pressure of his orgasm increase with every thrust.

She arched, tightening her legs around Aero’s waist in response to his deep, measured thrusts.

“Come with me, Sammy,” Aero pleaded, not willing to leave her hanging even as his own pleasure was reaching its peak. Tucking his face into the curve of her neck, he tried to hold off and fight it until she got there with him. Aero bit down gently on her neck, and she tensed.

“Aero, I, oh,” Sam cried out as her orgasm crashed over her, the sensation of their sweat-slicked skin, his warm, solid frame over her, his hard length stroking in and out of her, all becoming too much.

“Yes,” Aero grunted, planting himself deep and emptying himself inside her. His muscles tensed and released over and over as he claimed her. Finally.

They caught their breath, clutching each other tightly, until Aero shifted off of her and tucked her against his side.

Sam sighed contentedly, giving him a soft, pretty smile.

Aero smiled back, breathing in her lavender scent, the smell of the ocean, and the new, unfamiliar scent of them together.

“I’m glad we waited,” Sam admitted, her heart swelling with love and joy.

“Me too.” Aero kissed her forehead. “I love you.”

She smiled. “I love you too, Aero.”

They held each other, hands stroking and trailing softly, a blanket of peace settling over the pair.

“I wish we didn’t have to leave tomorrow,” Sam said, looking up into Aero’s soft green eyes.

Aero nodded. “We can come back another time.”

“I’d like that.” Sam smiled, turning over and pressing her back to his front. Aero’s arm immediately wrapped around her, holding her protectively against his chest.

Sam yawned, snuggling deeper into Aero and the bed. Reaching over, Aero flicked off the bedside lamp, pulled the fluffy white duvet over them, and kissed her temple.

“Goodnight, Sammy.”

“Goodnight,” Sam whispered back, smiling in the darkness.

Chapter 18

“Hey, guys.” Evie grinned at Sam and Aero, sliding into the booth at Rogue with Blaze behind her.

“Hey. Where are the kids?” Sam asked, hugging Evie around the shoulders.

“Ma has them. She kicked us out.” Evie giggled, and Blaze nodded.

“I believe she said, ‘Go have some fun or I’ll end you,’” Blaze said, and Aero huffed a laugh.

“How was your trip?” Evie asked Sam, who blushed slightly and squeezed Aero’s hand beneath the table.

“It was great. The beach was beautiful.” Sam sighed dreamily, recalling their time in Maine.

“Are you gonna go back?”

“Yes,” Aero said immediately, causing Sam to arch a brow at him. He winked at her.

Blaze and Evie exchanged a look, surprise and awe on both of their faces. It was unusual to see Aero act so playfully.

Since their conversation on the beach, Aero felt more calm and relaxed, especially when he was with Sam. The club members had noticed he was significantly more chatty and spent less time alone in his room. It was both shocking and wonderful to see.
