This was what I had been wanting since the night we all met, but hadn’t known how to make it happen on my own. It turned out I hadn’t needed to, because we’d made it happen together. River, Ryder, Nick, and Wolf had worked just as hard as me to bring Cary into our pack. To give him a home.

Nick tried to shuffle away from me suddenly, as if the pleasure was too intense. But Ryder shifted forward and slipped his arm around him, holding him trapped in place for me with a wink. Our earlier boundaries with each other during my heat seemed to have completely disappeared. It made my heart expand until it felt as if it was going to burst, watching my mates touching each other.

Cary seemed to have completely settled into our pack bonds and finally left his hesitation behind. Wolf had subtly pulled his dominance back into himself, so it was all Cary, now. He was freely chasing his own pleasure in this moment. Wolf was giving it to him just as readily, making his own pleasure so much more intense. As I’d known he would. I watched them hungrily from beneath the curtain of my hair as I felt River’s cock pulse and thicken inside me. My imagination was in overdrive, and I couldn’t wait to get in between Cary and one of our other mates. The idea had me moaning loudly. Wolf growled as he shot me a dark, dangerous look. Oops, I must have sent him a visual through our bond.

I looked back through my hair at Nick. He was panting heavily as he clutched the lifeline of Ryder’s arm across his chest. He looked almost pained as all of our pleasure hit him in the bond. I noticed Ryder was hard again and stroking himself as he watched. Despite his earlier words, Cary’s heat seemed to have ramped up his need. I reached out, and Ryder slipped onto the floor next to Nick, before he placed my hand under his own on his cock. He tightened his grip around mine and used my hand to pleasure himself.

“Cary,” I begged helplessly as my need peaked.

“Wolf, I need you to fuck me so hard I scream,” Cary panted, his need matching my own. Wolf roared as his beast came out to play. He flipped Cary over onto his stomach and grabbed him possessively around the throat as he slammed into him, completely letting go. Cary’s moan was guttural and desperate as he lost himself in the heat haze. He writhed underneath Wolf, and when Wolf slammed his knot inside Cary, I felt both their ecstasy reverberate through our bond.

It amplified each of our needs. River started completely dominating me in a pounding rhythm that felt re-arranged my insides. He shifted slightly and hit a spot that had me seeing stars. I yelled something nonsensical, completely beyond coherent thought now, barely hearing Cary screaming Wolf’s name. River groaned as he jerked roughly and slammed his knot inside me. I flicked my hair out of the way and slid my mouth over Nick’s straining cock. He spilled instantly and took me over the edge with him. Cary and Wolf came too, Wolf biting into his claim mark on Cary’s shoulder with a growl and holding Cary tight to him. Even Ryder followed us, man-handling his cock with my hand roughly and as he spilled ropes of cum over the floor. He even managed to get some on the couch.

“Dibs not cleaning that up,” Nick joked weakly as Ryder groaned.

“We need some of those plastic picnic mats,” Ryder said, as he slumped and rested his head next to Nick on the edge of the couch.

“Or we move to the nest,” River said dryly, but with an affectionate humor, as he settled me into his lap and cuddled me. I loved it when he dropped the fierce leader mode and relaxed with us, just as much as I loved him growly and demanding.

“Yeah, I second that,” Nick said with a laugh in his voice as he leaned forward and kissed me. It made me smile against his lips.

Cary’s heat had banked slightly, giving us a reprieve. But it was still simmering below the surface as it waited for it to spring back to life and demand its due. For the moment, he had openly snuggled up to Wolf and was breathing in his scent, while Wolf’s knot had him locked against him. Wolf had closed his eyes while he stroked Cary’s stomach lightly and purred for him. I could feel the vibration of it through the bond. My mind was a blissed out stream, flowing aimlessly, as somebody stroked my hair. I wasn’t sure if it was Nick or River, and it didn’t matter to me either way. I craved both their touches.

Now that Cary had embraced our pack, I knew I was the luckiest omega in the world. I could feel in our bond that he felt exactly the same way as he grinned down at me.

“Whatareyouthinkingabout?” Wolf asked me as we wandered up a path, holding hands. Cary’s heat had only lasted a day. We’d all crashed, exhausted, at about midnight. I’d taken Wolf on a quick morning stroll to show him some of the farm while Cary slept in and Nick watched over him. The twins had disappeared early somewhere. We were working our way back up to our cabin now.

I couldn’t wipe the smile off my face, but I really wasn’t thinking about anything in particular. For once I was just happy enjoying the moment. It was so easy to spend quiet time with Wolf. His wildness was still there, but now it was a sweetly flowing mountain stream. One you could grab an inner tube, jump in, and float along on happily for miles, watching the jungle as it passed.

I shrugged. “Cary recently asked me what I used to think about when I stared out the windows at the Palace. I told him it was being free to run and climb, just to be outside with nature. But also to touch the people I loved whenever I wanted. Now here I am doing both and I feel content. I’m just happy walking with you and not really thinking.”

Wolf stopped in his tracks and tugged on my arm to bring me closer to him. A light breeze was playing with his hair and the morning was chilly under the shadow of the trees, so I happily stepped into his heat.

“You love me?” He asked. That wide-eyed, vulnerable look that broke my heart crossed his face. I wanted to wipe it away forever.

“You doubt that?” I asked him, concerned.

“I can sense that you have deep feelings for me in the bond, but you’ve never said the words.”

I thought I’d told Wolf how I felt, but maybe just not using those words in particular. I fiddled with a strand of his hair and wrapped it around my finger. “Growing up, my mother and uncle were both tough, hard working people. Neither had a lot of time for the soft stuff in life. I knew they loved me, they showed me in little ways every day, but they didn’t always express their feelings with words. I guess I’ve picked up the habit if I’ve never said them to you.”

I looked up, wanting to hold his attention for what came next. “Have no doubt, though, Wolf. I love you.”

His eyes blazed, yet he didn’t smile. His face became intensely serious instead as he cupped my cheek. “No-one has ever said those words to me before. You’re the first, Ava. I wasn’t sure I’d ever recognize this feeling, but you make it so easy. I love you too.”

He slipped his hand around the back of my head and pulled me in for a kiss that was as tender and sweet as my gentle giant. I sighed into him.

“Love you,”he repeated in my head as he kissed me, just in case I hadn’t heard it. Or maybe he just wanted to say it again.

“Love you, too, Wolf,”I said as I smiled against his lips.

I’d been happy to find we could still speak to each other through the bond when I’d woken up yesterday. Part of me had wondered if I’d been hallucinating. It appeared it was here to stay, though. Our mates had tried to do it too, it just hadn’t worked for them. Hopefully, time would change that because I loved it.

“We should get back,” Wolf said, a little reluctantly, as he broke our kiss. “River wants to talk to us before we meet the other packs in the dining hall.”

I grabbed his hand and dragged him along behind me. A sudden urge to be surrounded by my mates drove me. My footsteps rattled the porch stairs as I dashed up them. River and Ryder were right behind the door, as if they’d been about to open it.
