I know you want more from me, but I don’t know if I’m capable of giving that to you. I’m ninety percent sure I’m demisexual. If you don’t know what that means, I suggest doing a Google search or finding a dictionary. I’m not explaining it to you.

What you want will probably never happen since I have commitment issues and trust issues, but I’ll give you until Christmas to change my mind about you.

Bring it on, but unlike you, I’m not waiting.

Draven

He was demisexual. That was definitely something to swallow. This wouldn’t be easy by any means. Being demisexual meant he needed to have an emotional attachment to someone before ever becoming sexually attracted to them.

And that would be hard as fuck to accomplish through letters.

This was about to be one of the hardest things I’d ever done in my life. But if there was one thing I knew about myself, it was that I was determined. When I wanted something, I got it. By any means necessary.

So even if I didn’t accomplish this by Christmas, I would still make this boy mine.

I wasn’t above showing up at his house. I had his address, and he lived in the same city I was stationed in.

There would be no escaping me, no matter how hard he tried.

I grabbed my notebook and rested it on my thighs.

Draven,

Game on, baby. One thing to know about me—I don’t turn down a challenge. And I want you.

You’ve given me until Christmas…

Just be prepared, boy. I’m coming for you.

Because you’re right. I do want you. I’ve never wanted someone so badly in my life. And if you didn’t want me to become further attached, you shouldn’t have sent that picture.

You’re beautiful, baby. And calling you mine would be a fucking honor.

I don’t know what life has been like for you up to this point, but if you let me in and give me a proper chance, I’ll make any hard times you’ve had seem like a far-off, distant memory. I’ll do everything in my power to take care of you and love you and make sure you don’t want or need for anything.

There’s no running from me now. So buckle up and get ready for the ride of your life.

You’re stuck with me.

I’ll be waiting,

Ethan

With that, I ripped out the paper along the perforated line, neatly folded it, and climbed down from my bunk. After I put mine and his addresses on the envelope, I sealed the letter inside and shoved my feet into my sneakers before heading outside to the mailbox.

Draven was going to belong to me. This boy wouldnotbe slipping through my fingers.

And I didn’t care what extreme measures I had to take to claim the rude, aggressive boy as mine.

CHAPTER3

Draven

Icouldn’t believe this was happening. That I wasactuallydoing this.

Somehow…Ethan had managed to convince me to meet him here at the Augusta Regional Airport. He had alsosomehow—pure sorcery, if you asked me—gotten me to fall for him. He’d been sweet yet assertive in every letter he’d sent me over the last few weeks. Through his kindness and his constant pushing, he’d gotten to me.

I’d tried so hard to keep him away, but he tore through every single one of my defenses. And whatever I had left…I had a feeling they were about to come tumbling down the moment I met him face-to-face for the very first time.
