“My father,” she begins, but then stops.

“Is evil, Savannah. You think what I’ve done to you is bad, I watched as the five men I’ve finally killed, raped and brutally beat my wife.”

I watch as her gaze swings back toward the window, fresh tears spilling over her cheeks.

“You’re no better than him. You say it's revenge, but you’ve done things to me no one should ever have to live through. You’re just as evil, Jacob.”

“Perhaps you’re right, but it doesn't change the fact. In time, your father will pay, with his life and you, my little kitten,” exhaling a breath, I stand and move toward her, “will pay by becoming mine.” My voice is unyielding.

“I will never be yours, Jacob. You don’t own me,” she snaps.

“That collar you're wearing says different, kitten,” I inform her, reminding her that my collar sits around her neck, my claim. Mine.

My fingers touchthe collar around my neck. I’d almost forgotten it was there.

“Do you need a reminder, kitten?” he asks, crouching down so his face is level with mine.

I shake my head because I don’t want Jacob to hurt me, I don’t want any of this.

I just want to go home.

“This is your home, Savannah,” Jacob says as if reading my mind.

Drawing in a deep breath, I fight back the tears that want to escape because I know he means it.

My body is his now, no matter how I feel.

Jacob stares at me with a questioning look. “Back to the room, kitten,” he instructs quietly, wrapping his fingers around my wrist.

“B-but, please,” I plead with him.

“Quiet, kitten, or I’ll find a way to fill that mouth.” He smirks. Tugging me up, he forces me to his chest, staring down at me as his fingers grip the base of my neck before his thumb pushes into my collarbone.

I yelp when he adds pressure.

“I won’t have you thinking I’m going soft on you, Savannah.”

“I don’t want you to do anything to me.”

Jacob chuckles, the sound vibrating through my core.

“Keep telling yourself that, princess. I bet that pussy is wet just for me.”

“Is not,” I lie.

He smiles knowingly and it’s completely infuriating.

Ushering me back into the room, Jacob eyes me before he points to the cage in the corner of the room.

“I’m yet to test that out, kitten, so behave otherwise that’ll be where you sleep.”

I gulp knowing he’s speaking the truth.

“I won’t bend to you. I’ll never be yours,” I snap, feeling slightly brave for a moment, but inch back when Jacob towers over me.

“Strip, Savannah.”

“What?” I breathe.
