If I say I’m with Alex Winters, I’m dead. I just hope they don’t find Bella. She will most certainly rattle her mouth all about it.

“Interesting…” Big Teddy says, his focus diverted by Michael handing him the camera. “What is this?”

He brings the camera closer to his eyes and just observes as Michael points to a corner of the screen, then nods in recognition.

“Why did you photograph a deal going on, my dear Liv?” Big Teddy inquires, appearing sympathetic on the surface but revealing a sinister edge beneath his gentlemanly facade.

“I did?” I’m genuinely surprised. “I’m baffled. If I did, I had no idea!”

He turns the camera to me, pointing with his finger to a corner of the picture. And there I see Michael handing a small bag of drugs to a client. It’s a picture clear enough to put him in jail for quite some time.

Big Teddy is so close to me now that I truly feel intimidated. I try not to cringe when he reaches over, his finger sliding across my face, from my neck, and finally to my cleavage.

“You smell good, Liv…” he says, half-laughing, fondling one of my breasts while handing the camera to Michael with the other.

Unable to hold back, I squeal in terror, petrified, completely out of ideas of what to do.

But then, the voice of my savior makes itself heard, “Leave the girl alone!”

Alex’s commanding voice draws all attention in the room, along with barrels of five guns pointed at him.

Alex raises his hands but doesn’t lose his confidence. He just stands there at the window, looking like he’s ready to take on anyone who comes at him.

“You’re that Winters guy!” Big Teddy recognizes Alex. “The one trying to ruin my work!”

“When a man’s work only brings destruction, it is worth destroying, uh… Big Teddy, right?”

“The one and only,” the man says, lowering his gun and approaching Alex. “How did you get in?”

“I let myself in, the fire exit is unguarded,” Alex says, with defiance.

“What’s keeping me from blowing your brains out right now, Winters?” Big Teddy asks, waving his gun around.

“You’re a hero in your point of view, right? And doesn’t every hero needs a nemesis? So, if you’re Superman, I’m your Lex Luthor. And Superman never kills Lex Luthor,” Alex discourses, still detaining everyone’s attention.

“Hmpf!” Big Teddy says with disdain. “Do you really think my ethics go as far as that?”

The dealer cocks his gun and is followed by his men. I squint; this is it. Alex is going to die, and I will be the next in line.

But then, my man proves that good looks aren’t his only asset.

“I’m unarmed, Teddy!” Alex opens his jacket to show he’s telling the truth. “Face me like a man, one-to-one, and then we’ll talk!”

Big Teddy takes his sweet time laughing at Alex’s expense, and his henchmen follow.

“That self-defense class you took years ago isn’t going to be worth shit compared to what I know, playboy!” Big Teddy hands his gun to Michael.

And Alex takes in the cue to hit him with an uppercut, from which blood spills everywhere.

Teddy bit his tongue in the process, and it must be serious considering the lisp he’s speaking with as he tries to curse.

The drug dealer tries to attack Alex with a martial arts kick, but the kick is too low and too slow, and Alex pulls him by the leg and brings him to the floor. Alex then drops on top of him, with his knees on his chest and his hands around his neck.

“Tell your men to drop their guns!” Alex commands, looking at Big Teddy dead in the eyes.

“… Drop!” Teddy tries to speak but fails miserably. “Drop the guns, damn it!”

One by one, every man and boy in the room drops their guns on the ground.
