Ismiledatmyniece, Anouska, as she stood on wobbly legs, Anatoly holding her hands.

“I still can’t believe my brother is a dad,” I said as Anouska giggled happily. Though looking at Anatoly, the huge man looked like he was even more out of place than Misha would be.

“Anouk is the most spoiled little girl alive. Her daddies are wrapped around her precious little fingers and she knows it.” Rosslyn said with a grin.

“You shouldn’t have come. If something happens…” I started and Rosslyn glared at me.

“Stop. You are family, Anya and if I am not safe with my husbands here, then I am not safe anywhere.” She said with a heated look at Anatoly and I swear his chest puffed a little.

“I haven’t treated you like family,” I whispered and Rosslyn smiled, the look full of understanding.

“I may not know exactly what happened, but I understand the need to run from a traumatic situation and fill the void with men and distractions.” She said and the way she said it was like she knew exactly what I had been doing.

I narrowed my eyes on her and Anatoly.

“Mikhail kept tabs on me,” I said and she nodded, smiling primly.

“You are his sister and you went through something terrible. He was worried. Plus the man works in security for the mob. Of course, he was going to keep tabs on you. Though we didn’t realize who Damien was. His information was locked away tightly.” She added and I sighed at the mention of his name.

“Even so. I should have called. I missed a lot and I pushed you all away. I know now that I probably just needed to talk it out.” I said and Rosslyn reached over to take my hand.

“It’s fine. This isn’t the end of your story, Anya. You have today, tomorrow, and every day afterward. New chapter. New beginning. This is how you move forward and even though the circumstances may not be ideal, you are exactly where you need to be on your journey.” She said, eyes watering.

“Sorry. Pregnancy hormones make me more emotional than normal.” She muttered as she wiped away a tear.

I felt too emotional myself, swallowing a few times as I focused on my breathing and tried not to cry.

“Thank you for coming,” I said and she waved a hand as Anatoly picked up Anouska.

“She is getting tired. I will take her for a nap and let you have some privacy.” He said softly, kissing Rosslyn on the head. My heart grew about ten sizes as I watched him walk away with the sleepy girl on his shoulder. Seeing the man with a baby had me thinking about what it would be like to have one of my own.

Before I could stop myself, my mind conjured the image of seeing the men with a brood of them.

“I know what you are thinking. It is hard not to get baby fever watching men with children. I swear, if I wasn’t already pregnant, I would be actively trying, not that it would be hard. Gabriel in particular has a bit of a kink seeing me pregnant. It definitely does wonders for my self-image.” Rosslyn said with a laugh as she rubbed her stomach.

“I wanted to ask for your advice on how you do it. I know Gabriel and Misha are in a relationship as well, but how do you all make it work?” I asked and Rosslyn sat back with a wary smile.

“I think our situation was a little easier than most because the men were already a team, so their dynamic was pretty solid. I think they mostly just came to an agreement amongst each other that they were all going to be with me and that was it.” She shrugged and I laughed.

“Yeah. The guys said the same thing. But what about once the high of the relationship is over? How do you manage your time together now?” I was worried that this would be all fine right now because of the newness and the sex, but the relationship side of things was what scared me. I hadn’t really experienced a long-term relationship with one guy, let alone three.

“Communication and trust. You need to trust that this is what you all want and that you will be able to move through everything. The men look like they are already willing to work out their own dynamics. All you have to do is follow their lead.” She said, making it sound so easy.

“It’s really that simple?” I huffed out a breath and she grinned.

“You would be surprised. I’m not saying that there aren’t going to be problems that come up or that it will always be easy, but if you are all on the same page and all in, then trust in the relationship.” Rosslyn smiled and I realized I was overthinking this.

“You will twist yourself up into knots if you keep trying to analyze everything. Life is short. Those men look at you like they see the center of their world. You will be okay.” She added and I nodded as Anatoly came back in.

“They are back. That wasn’t long.” He said as the front door opened and the sound of masculine laughter echoed through the house.

“Are you serious? You have a baby roo here?” I heard Gabriel say and I grinned.

“I’ll go get the little thing,” I whispered and Rosslyn laughed as I heard Wyatt mutter.

“It still amazes me that everyone in Australia shortens the words. It’s like your language is lazy.” He said and William laughed.

“Mate. You have been here long enough now, you gotta speak fast to stop the blowies from getting in your mouth and the quickest way to do that is shorten your words!” William said earning a cackle from Gabriel.
