Two months later

“Didyouseethesephotos of the kids from Christmas?” Mama said as she held up the photo with the group of kids on the horses.

Christmas had been chaotic with my brother bringing his kids and then inviting the entire crime families too.

Meeting the Maddens, Morettis and Mendez family had been a real treat, especially watching the weird relationship rivalry between Connor Madden and Dante Mendez.

But seeing women who had relationships like me was exactly what I had needed and the bonds I formed that day would last for a lifetime.

“They are adorable,” I said as I looked over the paperwork Gideon had given me.

True to his word, he had given me access to the entire trust fund after Mama refused to take a cent. They were slowly working on their relationship, and he had told me the entire truth after our discovery with Austin.

We had all agreed not to tell Mama, wanting to keep that heartbreak from her when she had been through so much already.

I stared at the obscene number that was now mine. I was a millionaire practically overnight and with my signature on the page, it was now official.

“So, are you going to tell them today?” Mama asked for the fifth time and I rolled my eyes.

“Yes, Mama as soon as they get back from mending the fences,” I said and she grinned.

I had found out this morning that I was pregnant and I was terrified that Mama would get so excited and shout it from the rooftops.

I heard the men talking as the front screen door opened and nerves replaced my tiredness as I waited for them to come in.

They looked excited and were grinning like boys, the grins getting wider when they looked at me. Had Mama somehow told them already?

“Come on, Darlin. We have something to show you.” Wyatt said as he practically lifted me from the chair.

I eyed them warily, following them out of the house and when he took me to the ATV, I was even more suspicious.

William and Beau just grinned as they got back onto their horses and followed us. Wyatt drove us to the top paddock and as we came over the rise, I saw it.

A gazebo had been put in place and the entire thing was covered in vines and flowers.

As we slowed to a stop and I climbed down, I could see in the center a small table with five chairs, a selection of cured meats and cheeses and a bottle of sparkling wine.

“What are we celebrating?” I asked, turning around to find Beau on his knee, a ring box in hand.

“Anya Hart, will you do me the honor of becoming my wife?” He said and I stared at him for a long minute, shock and happiness rolling through me.

The tears came before I could stop them and I nodded, grabbing his hand to pull him into a standing position.

“Yes! Of course I will.” I sobbed as he wrapped his arms around me.

“Wait. But what about…” I started and William grinned.

“It’s all taken care of.” He said and I raised an eyebrow at him as Wyatt took some paperwork from the ATV.

“We all changed our last names to Hart so when you and Beau marry, it will be legal but we all share the same name.” He said and my tears flowed faster.

“Oh…my…god… that is sss..so beautiful.” I sobbed as Beau slid the ring onto my finger.

William popped the cork of the wine and poured glasses.

“Here’s to the new and improved Hart family!” He said and handed me a glass. I hesitated and he frowned.

“What’s wrong? I thought you liked this one?” He said and I gnawed my lip.
