Just because we’re fucking, it doesn’t mean I’ve forgotten.
“Hurry,” I snap at my phone when the app takes longer to open than I’d like.
The second the image of her room appears something settles inside me, but it’s empty.
“Shit,” I hiss. But my disappointment only lasts so long before there’s movement on the other side of the room.
I lower my phone to the side as I strip out of my uniform, leaving it in a heap on the floor before climbing onto the bed in only my boxers.
“Oh hell, yeah,” I groan when she does the same in only a small pair of shorts and a vest.
Thank fuck for the wealthy parents of this town who pay over the odds for education and heating to keep their precious little princes and princesses warm even on the coldest of days.
Folding her legs, Raine opens her laptop in front of her and starts typing.
For the longest time, I just watch her.
But eventually, and inevitably, I get a little bored.
Finding my iPad in my bedside table, I install the app on there as well, before getting myself comfortable with it in full view while I open my messages on my phone.
Theo: What are you doing?
She pauses writing and reaches behind her.
I still when a wide smile curls at her lips.
Fuck. She’s beautiful.
Sunshine: Homework.
Theo: Sounds like fun.
Sunshine: Meh. I can think of better things to be doing. What about you?
Theo: Oh, I can certainly think of better things to be doing.
Sunshine: So what are you doing?
A smirk kicks up the corner of my lips.
Theo: Lying on my bed wishing you were in it with me.
The second she reads those words, she kicks her laptop away and stretches her legs out before her.
Sunshine: Theo…
Sunshine: You’re bad.
Theo: Down to the core, baby! Wanna be bad with me?
She stares at the screen for a few seconds, and I start to panic.
But then as she starts typing her smile grows and I know I’ve got her.
Sunshine: How do I know you’re not out with the guys?
Theo: Because I’d be wearing more clothes than this.
