Mav moves next, giving her a kiss that leaves her grinding down on Reid’s lap.

She tells him she loves him too and then turns to Reid.

But if he’s expecting to hear the same sentiment that Mav and I are happily exchanging with her now, then he doesn’t get it.

“Wish us luck,” she says before standing from Reid’s lap and attempting to straighten her dress.

Fucking thing should be illegal for how short and tempting it is.

It’s more suited for a party at home than it is to be seen by other men out in public.

At least she’s wearing panties. I can guarantee that she wouldn’t be if she were at home.

I bite down on my bottom lip as the image of her bending over in that dress with nothing beneath vividly fills my mind.

“Dove,” I say before she disappears from sight.

“Yeah,” she says looking back over her shoulder.

“We’re gonna need another party in that dress. But the only men who are going to see you in it are us.”

Her eyes darken as she understands my words.

“I guess that all depends on whether you can behave tonight, doesn’t it?” She looks among the three of us before closing the door and severing our connection.

“Fuck,” Reid groans.

“I know, right,” I agree. “You hard as fuck too?”

“We can hear you,” Aubrey says clearly through the laptop speakers.

“And?”

“You blow your cover before you even get inside, Kendrick, and?—”

“And what, Harris? Gonna go all scary motherfucker on my ass?”

“Just shut the fuck up and do your job.”

Thankfully, she does as she’s told and we watch on the screen as the two of them walk straight up to the security guarding the door and hand over two names I’ve never heard before.

One of the massive motherfuckers lifts a clipboard and scans down what I assume is a list of names.

He nods to his partner and, with a smile that is a little too interested for my liking, he lifts the black rope keeping people out, and allows the two of them to enter.

Both guards turn after the girls have passed and blatantly stare at their asses before looking at each other and nodding.

“I hope they weren’t good at their jobs,” Reid muses, pulling his cell from his pocket and tapping out a message to someone as the deep base of the music inside the club begins to float through the air.

“You can’t kill everyone who so much as glances at your girl, Harris.” Aubrey laughs.

“Watch me,” he replies darkly, making all the hairs on my body rise.

His voice always affects me. But having it right here in my ear. Fuck. Shivers don’t even begin to explain it.
