Hereyes popped open at the sound, both of them looking down at the same moment, their heads banging against one another.

Wyattcrouched down to pick up the fallen object.Onlyone knee was on the ground. “Lily.”

Lily’sface scrunched up in confusion.Thenrows of goosebumps lined her arms. “Hmm?” she managed, barely getting out the sound.

Wyatt’seyes held hers. “Mylove for you is as vast as the star-filled sky aboveCrystalPeak.Asdeep as the mightyBlueRiverand as solid as . . . moose antlers.”

Lilylaughed, a tear streaming down her cheek. “Ilove you, too.Yourfamily.Andthis town.”

Wyattchoked up. “Willyou do me the honor of being my bride?”

Heunfurled his fingers, revealing a solitaire diamond ring.
