“Do you think that they’ll be okay?” I asked, looking up at the ceiling.

“Baby, I love Cree and Lulee just as much as you do, but I’d rather not talk about them when I have my lips so close to your pussy.”

That got a surprised laugh out of me. “Your mouth is nowhere near my vagina, good sir.”

“Not for lack of trying,” he chuckled as his lips planted soft kisses on my hipbone.

When we’d gotten back from lunch, Saint had switched up on me, going from the beast that he’d been last night to leisurely tasting every inch of my skin, and it felt good.

It felt better than good.

I threaded my hands through his hair as I felt one of his hands slide over my thigh. Dressed in one of his t-shirts and panties only, there wasn’t much standing in his way of making me see God again. At my request, Saint had his shirt off, and I was pretty sure that I wasn’t ever going to let him wear a shirt whenever I was around.

“Fuck, I love the way you smell,” he murmured, the tip of his nose running alongside the waistband of my panties. “I can’t get enough of eating that pretty pussy of yours.”

“Saint…” I whispered as his lips touched my delicate skin again.

“I waited two years to taste you, Verity,” he said. “If you think that I’m not going to eat your pussy every chance that I get, then you’re very wrong, baby.”

“You know, if you moved your body just a bit, we could both be feeling good right now,” I suggested, loving a sixty-nine just as much as the next girl.

“If that’s your way of saying that you want my dick in your mouth, you don’t have to tell-”

“Verity!” Lulee’s voice came through the door as she pounded on the door.

“Motherfucker,” Saint hissed as he jumped up off me. “What the fuck?”

“Maybe they’re fighting,” I suggested as I hurriedly scrambled off the bed, looking for my jeans.

Not bothering with a shirt, Saint headed for the door, and when he swung it open, Lulee and Cree weren’t alone. Kevin stood behind Lulee, and he looked worried.

“What’s going on?” Saint asked as I came up behind him.

“Sarah’s missing,” Lulee answered, and she looked visibly upset, too.

“What do you mean? Like…she took her stuff and left?” Saint asked as we both stepped outside to talk to them.

Kevin shook his head. “No,” he answered. “All her stuff is still in our cabin. She wanted to check in with her mom, so she said that she was walking to the road for reception.”

“Why didn’t she used the cabin phone?” I asked.

His face looked pinched. “They don’t work.”

“What?” Saint asked, the surprise evident in his voice.

“They only dial out to extensions at the resort,” Cree said, surprising us both. “The phones don’t have outside lines. We tried.”

“But…Marilyn said that we could call her at home if we needed anything after-hours.”

“It’s probably wired as another extension,” Lulee surmised worriedly.

“How long ago did she leave?” Saint asked.

“About an hour,” Kevin answered. “Right after lunch, in fact.”

“Man, I hate to ask this, but-”

“I already checked Trevor’s room,” Kevin said. “I know that she was with him earlier today.”
