“Thank you.”

Juniper

She rolled over after closing her eyes for twenty minutes with no luck, and grabbed his tablet. She had already reached out to a few people under Wolfie’s account and was checking for any replies.

Whitney ‘June, you have been quiet the talk around town. A lot of people can’t believe that Wolfgang ran off like that. What spell did you put him under? I’m glad we are doing a wedding next year, if you’re coming back, I would want you to be there. The new girls are annoying. I’m ten years older than them, I was already nine years older than Brittanya. Would that be crazy if I missed Shianne? Oh, who by the way is getting married this friday. She’s getting big. Love you.’

Juniper ‘Whitney, I miss you too. We plan on being back in two weeks, the last two months have been unbelievable. I’m excited for your wedding and it's crazy that Shianne is already getting married. Does she know the gender of the baby? Also, I’ve been thinking, can I get Wolfie’s tattoo guy’s information? Love you.’

Brittanya ‘Hey girl, I’m glad you’re coming back. I got permission to take your stuff to Wolfies. I will miss you here, but I understand Margaret’s reasoning. Whitney is also still here sometimes, less now that it’s a bunch of young girls. I can’t wait to see you when you get back. I want us to get together, let's plan dinner or something? I’ll plan it with Marilyn, it’s probably hard for you to plan something being far away. What day will you be back? I can’t wait. Xo Brittanya’

Juniper ‘Brittanya, Thank you for taking care of my stuff, that was sweet of you. I heard you got new roommates and Whitney ‘loves’ them. Haha. A get together sounds great, Marilyn would probably be better to plan it with, it might help her take her mind off of everything. We plan on being back in two weeks, the twenty third or twenty fourth, see you then. June.’

Chapter Thirty Three

July Fourteenth

Wolfgang

“When is Pat coming back?” She set the hair brush down as Wolfie waited to use the bathroom.

He sighed, “Next week. Because of this situation, I have to help Jay find resources, but Patrick’s going to come up when I leave, to be with you. This weekend Sylvia will also come up to send us off next week.”

“How long will you be gone?” She leaned her back to the counter.

“I don’t know, we leave the twenty third, I want to get it done fast, so I may offer to use the money to speed up the process.”

“What things are you looking for? I could help.”

“You’re not leaving the cabin, especially with me, until we leave. I was thinking of motherboards and processors, pieces like that I can take apart and use for our computer hardware back home.”

“What does Jay usually get on these trips?”

He didn’t know exactly what Jay looked for, he just knew that he was incharge of getting supplies and people, “People and supplies. Sometimes he can’t find what people are needing or things on the resource list, so he will get other things like clothing material, seeds, and other things we can use.”

“Hm.” She turned to free up the bathroom. He leaned against the doorframe without budging. “What?” She looked up at him.

“I’ve just been thinking about that time in your backyard with the pie.”

Her lips began to pull upward, “What do you mean?”

“I think you know.” He stepped towards her.

“We’ll if you want to recreate that, the bathroom is not the place.” She reached her lips up and kissed him on the cheek, “Take your night shower and meet me downstairs.” She slinked past him.

She hated the idea of Wolfie leaving. It felt like he was going to be leaving her for weeks, when in reality it would be a couple days. She had to go with it when they had to take this step to get back to the island. It was the least she could do for letting Wolfie bring her back with him. She was getting nervous at how close it was getting and she was ready to go back but had grown attached to the cabin, Patrick and Sylvia.

The bathroom door opened and closed, she looked up locking eyes with him over the hand railing in the glow of the lamp as he skipped the last step into the living room and paced towards her without anything to say.

“I have a blanket if you’re interested in stargazing. It’s a new moon making it dark out.” She stood flattening her dress and grabbed the blanket.

Wolfie leaned in and kissed her, “I can hold this.” He threw the blanket over his shoulder, and grabbed her hand.

Juniper had a thought, “I think we have done it more outside than inside.”

“Is that a problem?” He opened the laundry door and locked it from the outside with the key Pat had given him.
