She placed the note back in the flowers, “Well, I wanna know!” Golden looked up from beading a dress.
“The note?”
“Yes, who are those from and what did it say?” Golden was nosy but he felt so trusting.
“Wolfgang. He-”
“Are you serious?” He set down his material, “I could just strangle you, or kiss you. Lucky you Junie babe. What does he have to say?”
“He wants to see me Saturday.” June sat in her seat, trying to make it not seem like a big deal.
“Look at you, getting dates already.”
“We already went out last Saturday.” She turned to side eye him.
“Girl!” Golden focused on his needle, “Good for you!”
June dragged her phone towards her, she opened Wolfgang’s contact and tapped the message button.
Juniper ‘Thank you for the flowers. I would like to see you again this Saturday.’
She closed it and opened a message to Brittanya.
Juniper ‘Wolfgang asked me out again for Saturday.’
Her phone vibrated on the table.
Wolfgang ‘Have you been to the beach yet?’
Juniper ‘No.’
Brittanya ‘Really? What are you two doing this time?’
Juniper ‘Looks like we are going to the beach.’
Brittanya ‘I have a suit you can borrow!’
Wolfgang ‘Would you like to?’
Juniper ‘Yes. That sounds fun.’ She sent to Wolfgang.
Juniper ‘Thank you!’ She sent to Brittanya.
Wolfgang ‘I can pick you up around noon?’
Juniper ‘Sounds good.’
