Juniper ‘Or am I?’

February Eleventh

Juniper ‘I thought of you today.’

Wolfgang ‘Oh yeah?’

Juniper ‘Yep. I saw a bug on my porch.’

Wolfgang 'I am rolling my eyes right now.’

Juniper ‘How is Max and Shianne?’

Wolfgang ‘A thing apparently. I thought it was bad when I had to go over there before, but now she practically lives here and I have to listen to those two behind closed doors.’

Juniper ‘Oh no, I’m sorry. I’m glad I’m not over there.’

Wolfgang ‘I’m not.’

Juniper ‘Did you need to escape for a while?’

Wolfgang ‘I have an early morning at my mom’s. Thanks though.’

February Fifteenth

Wolfgang ‘Juniper’

Juniper ‘Wolfgang.’

Chapter Twelve

February Seventeenth

Wolfgang

‘I wonder what June is up to?’ He thought as he got into his jeep at lunch. ‘I should just go over there and take her to lunch, there’s the diner next door to her shop.’ The Jeep turned around, heading in that direction. Wolfgang hadn’t thought about a girl likethis, that much. He saw something about her and for someone who waited so long to find someone, he wanted to make it official sooner than later.

‘I could take her to lunch, and then I can ask her out? Maybe ask her to be official then? No.’ His eyes narrowed at the road, ‘I want it to be more special than just a random lunch date.’ He turned into a parking spot in front of the shop and swiftly got out. Wolfgang opened the door and caught Juniper's eyes across the shop and smiled under his beard. ‘Damn she was beautiful, I had to kiss her and make her mine.’

“Oh Junie babe!” Golden exclaimed when he saw her drafts for a few dresses and a suit. “These are beautiful! I’d like to have these done before the annual ball.” He separated a draft from the others, her first sketch. A sleek floor length, dark green dress, with a sheer sweetheart neckline. “I normally wouldn’t do this but I’d like to see this one in white, for a wedding dress. You have barely been here a month and I’d hate to promote you before the others.” Golden handed back the other papers.

“That’s understandable,” June tapped the papers against her desk, straightening them out. “Would you like me to do a sketch of this one in white now or-?”

“No, actually. I’d like you to make your other two dresses and a suit. I want to see how well of a seamstress you are. Let’s see how good you can be. The few sample dresses you made were good. Maybe if you focused more on sewing and less on Wolfgang we would excel.” Golden winked at her teasingly and wandered off.

June had finished a few plain dresses and did want to excel, she knew she could. She flipped through her drafts, a black silky floor length dress, a short pink dress with a big bow in the back and a bustle. The door chimed and she looked up. Wolfie walked in unannounced and June was surprised to see him, “Hey gorgeous.” He bent down and kissed her on the lips as she approached.

June blushed as some of her coworkers looked at them from their stations, “What are you doing here?”
