Page 32 of Daddy's Praise

“It was kinda exciting,” she confessed.

“I agree. We’ll have to do it again sometime, for now though Daddy wants to make you scream and since you were such a good girl for me, you can come whenever you want, however many times you want.” I didn’t wait for a response, just went to work teasing my girl with my tongue. I took her to the peak and held her there until her body began to quake like it usually did right before she came really fucking hard, and then I speared her with my fingers.

She came instantly and as she rode the bliss of her orgasm, I stood up and impaled her with my cock making her come one more time before allowing myself to follow suit.

Audrey

Apparently, I wasn’t allowed to spend Fridays with him, and as much as I knew I needed room to breathe and think outside of his presence, when I got to my apartment, I fell apart. I was physically and emotionally drained from my time with Archer Brennan, and yet being home in the still silence of my own apartment killed me. Archie didn’t seem to like it either. He paced in front of the front door, as if home was a place he hadn’t been before. I could relate. It wasn’t home anymore. It didn’t feel like home. Archer was home.

Not bothering to do anything that needed to be done, I went straight to bed only to find that I couldn't sleep. I was cold and I tossed and turned, searching for the warmth of another body. How could I have gotten so used to him after a week? It shouldn’t have disrupted my mind and body as much as it had after only a few days. It was normal and natural for couples to spend nights away from one another, so why did it feel so wrong?

After hours of frustration, I snagged my pillow and blanket and went to the couch. I turned on my favorite streaming service and found an old sitcom I’d seen a million times hoping to find some comfort and familiarity. Episode after episode, I stared at the television not paying attention to a damn thing that was happening until around four in the morning my body and brain finally gave out on me and I fell asleep.

I was startled awake by a hard knock at my door and almost fell off of the couch.

“Audrey, are you okay? I saw your car in the lot so I know you made it home.” Archer’s voice was loud and full of panic. What was happening?

I shook the last vestiges of sleep from my brain and hurried to the door.

“Archer? What’s wrong?” I asked as I flung open the door and saw the worry etched into his features.”

“What’s wrong?” he repeated indignantly as he pushed past me and shut the door behind him. “What’s wrong is that it’s noon and I have been trying to get ahold of you since about thirty minutes after you left my place last night. Where is your phone? Why are you still in yesterday’s clothes?”

His worry began to morph into anger and instantly, I felt about two inches tall as embarrassment smashed into me like a tidal wave.

“I went to bed as soon as I got home.” I explained half-heartedly.

“You went to bed in office clothes?” He raised a brow.

“I was tired. I haven’t really gotten as much sleep as I’m used to.” Another half-truth.

He had the grace to look ashamed by that fact. “I’m sorry about that. I’ll have to learn to let you sleep more when we’re together. So you came home and fell asleep, and you’re still sleeping at noon? Does that mean you haven’t eaten in almost twenty-four hours?”

If he didn’t think I needed a Daddy before, he certainly did in that moment. We had been apart for less than a day and I hadn’t even managed to change my clothes or feed myself. I was so hopeless.

“You can’t really eat in your sleep.” I tried to shrug it off.

“Are you coming down with something?” He closed the gap between us and felt my forehead. His hand was warm and comforting and I just wanted to melt into his touch.

I pulled away before I could do just that. “I’m not sick. You didn’t need to come over. I’m fine.”

“I don’t believe you. All of this is completely out of character for you. And I came over because I was worried and couldn’t reach you. Where is your phone?” he asked again.

“I don’t know. In my purse maybe? Probably dead. Archer, you're overreacting. I’m a grown woman and I’m fine.”

“You sure about that?” He snagged my purse off the floor next to the door and dug through it.

Crossing my arms over my chest, I glared at him.

“New rule, Daddy needs to be able to get in touch with you at all times,” he said, holding up my phone. “That means your phone is charged and near you or the ringer is on so you can hear it.”

“You’re being ridiculous. Chill out.” I knew I was acting like a petulant teenager, but that’s exactly how he was making me feel so I figured I might as well play my part.

“Ridiculous? I texted you to make sure you got home safe and didn’t hear back. I figured you needed a breather from me so I gave you some space. I went to my meeting and came home and texted you to tell you good night. It was late so I figured you might have gone to sleep, but then this morning, I texted again and again and received nothing. I have never not been able to reach you before. You have never not returned a message to me in a timely manner. I thought you were dead, and the entire way over here I was kicking myself for letting you out of my sight. Still think I’m being ridiculous?”

The more he talked, the worse I felt and my bravado began to slip. “I’m sorry.”

“Thank you for the apology, but it doesn’t change anything, and I’m serious about the rule.”
